Seeing that David Lynch died today was a bit of a gut punch. I wouldn't say I loved all of his movies, but I always loved his energy and ability to make such weird stuff at a mass distributed level. Here he is, pictured with his murderer. If you smoke, please stop. It's never too late.

Ooh, yay, a new streaming service I can use, thanks for the recommendation.

Working on a regional map entirely based on early 1990’s black metal bands, songs, and lyrics.

I'd like to know more about this world of the pink mist.

"You will feel pain in this hand within the box. Pain. But! Withdraw the hand and I'll touch your neck with my gom jabbar--the death so swift it's like the fall of the headsman's axe. Withdraw your hand and the gom jabbar takes you. Understand?"

Dune was my favorite "bad" movie for so much of my youth (starting somewhere around 9 years old, seeing it on TV - WPIX11). I recognized even as a kid that it was flawed, but it was just so interesting to look at! I couldn't look away, even when I was bored (because of my youth, not the story).

@evlynmoreau.bsky.social hey, thanks for the follow. I love your art!

"Adulthood" can really just be measured by how many free nice quality canvas tote bags you have to find a home for. 🛍️ I'm at least 10 tote bags old... and they are starting to spill out of the original bag. So yeah, I'm middle aged.

Living in Switzerland makes it really hard to get good quality darks *ales* like American Browns, Porters or Stouts (or British ones got that matter). I'm brewing my own Imperial Stout now, but with German grains rather than British/American ones which I can't get.

I'm just following a bunch of new folks based only on their profile text and not even looking at their posts yet. Let's see how this goes.

A couple months ago I started editing this podcast series on Old School Tabletop RPGs. I went from being a fan to a contributor. It's always chock full of helpful insights to playing, creating, and running games. Check it out!

My biggest issue with AI evangelism in our industry is that it treats creativity like a problem to be solved, and not an adventure to be had.

I'm trying out a new handle on this new platform: "by Josh" - because I make things. TV shows by Josh, Beers by Josh, Games by Josh, but hopefully it's fun _with_ Josh.
