Mmm, yes.
Battery level.

If the game developer set their content depots up correctly, yes. If they just have one per OS, I don't think it'll work, but if they have one with common, OS-agnostic assets, and ones specific to target OSes, then Steam should share the content depot locally. I believe that's how it works.

My bet is that things will continue like nothing happened. Unfortunately, this level of blind trust is pretty prevalent at all the wrong levels in the industry, sometimes required by law (eg, DMCA).

The original comment mentioned serverHold, not clientHold. :P

In general, you should be able to check the EPP status codes over whois.

The situation has since been resolved to my understanding, so the hold code will have been lifted. But based on what the previous reply said, coupled with the fact clientHold and serverHold are typically used in situations requiring intervention (eg legal disputes), it's a reasonable assumption.

"Server" EPP codes are set by the registry (the TLD operator), and "Client" EPP codes are set by the registrar (in this case iWantMyName). No other party is allowed to set these statuses, and they're not set at the DNS level, however hold statuses prevent DNS servers from resolving held domains.

docs.bsky.app/docs/advance...
It's kind of terrifying just how much goes into it.
And yet, I'm grateful they added it at all. It's impressive they got it working given the structure of bsky and ATproto behind the scenes.

It's also like, kinda the whole point. :P
The game is entirely story-driven. It can realistically only be played once, because your knowledge is your progress. That's why spoilers are so detrimental, because it deprives you of that discovery yourself.

Thank you for playing it rather than looking it up. Avoiding spoilers is hard, but they can outright ruin the experience. :p
Hope you enjoy!

I've said it before, but never really put it into words. Your work makes me feel a certain way I can't really describe. Like I have nostalgia for places I've never been. Looking through old photos, reminiscing about times that never were.
I love it so much. Please keep it up. ❤️
