Dems lose because they treat voters like adults and tell them the truth.
What "inspires voters" isn't policy, or, or a stable economy, or even saving lives.
Or Biden and Harris would've won by 400 EV.
It's lies that they can share on Tiktok and not get accused of being cringe.

Or you could wait a day before deciding without evidence that what was being done wasn't in fact a coordinated strategy to take this talking point off the table before the general election cake is too baked.
Jeffries got the clarification his constituents demanded for an endorsement.
Case closed.

Because honesty is boring and turns voters off.
The very first complaint about the Biden administration was that he didn't generate nonstop news traffic because he wasn't "exciting enough."
The reelection of Trump showed that voters want less CSPAN and more WWE.
So Dems are giving it to them.

I think @opinionhaver.bsky.social's theory of glonzo kinda explains why Trump thrives in the internet era. People are constantly creating imaginary issues, and Trump has this magic ability to completely go along with it, rather than treating them with the contempt they deserves.

The thing is with Sander in particular, he’ll say he is an Independent and/or Democratic Socialist, and/or Democrat; when it is convenient for him.
The rules sometimes apply to others don’t seem to apply to him.

Would that apply to everyone?

What's happening here is that Iran is demonizing Grossi as a strategy to justify its decision to suspend safeguards and regime characters associated with diplomacy are piling on to build up their credentials with hardliners. It's pathetic, but predictable.

The ghost gun thing is a really good example about what I’m saying. In 2021 New York passed a law criminalizing the sale of ghost guns (assembly.state.ny.us/leg/?default...) - mamdani was one of the 40 nays (most of the rest were GOP)
Yet 6mo later he tweets we should ban guns. Which is it, man?

my position has not changed for literally months - i find the guy to be a typical politician that promises a ton of shit not backed up by their record (in the case below, flip/flopping on Israel).
If you think not liking politicians because they lie is somehow bad, you have a hero worship problem
