The Spectator and hiring weirdos to write columns, name a more iconic duo.

Hasn't Labour as a whole been on the side of Farage for the last year?

I think it says something about the mentality of someone who goes to this extent of hurling racism at you that he then talks about laying low like he's robbed a bank and the worrying about losing his account, just absolutely pathetic behaviour all round.

It's also just as likely the other way round "how the hell are we going to fit this script around the $100 million cgi sequences we've already had made before we even hired a director?!"

Can't help but feel like Rayners got someone briefing against her after her name started popping up as a potential replacement for Starmer after a couple bad weeks for him.

Do the people those kinds of history books would be aimed at even read books? I have to imagine the quick sharp jolt of anger social media or a Telegraph opinion piece invokes is harder to sustain over a whole book.

Yeah it does all feel like a political choice after seeing how much their core vote has turned on them, especially over the last couple weeks.

It always makes me laugh for all the talk of the betrayal of the fishermen we never talk about the betrayal of every other industry who's businesses were made harder by Brexit. Especially when you consider 'hard Brexit' was not what was voted for.

Won't make anyone talk about how miniscule a part of our GDP fishing is either.

Ah I understand that's a fair point

I disagree here, I think Greedo shooting first goes beyond being goofy. It fundamentally changes an aspect of Han Solo's character. It has been meme'd to death at this point though

Feels like complaining about the guy that once pissed on your porch whilst ignoring the arsonist currently burning your house down.

It's something I've continued to be baffled by. Also seems like an easy get out of her "no tax-rises" pledges, tax reform seems like an easy way to get herself out that box.

Maybe he can hypnotise the Green Party into winning more seats

I think you already wrote the book on the team and party who actually turned Labour's worst defeat into a massive majority.

Farage managed to rally habitual non voters whilst Labour voters stayed at home yet the habitual non voters are actually the Labour voters? Hard to see why Labour are struggling so badly with logic like that.

using right-wing language or imagery that they knew would anger some in their party (and seem to relish in it sometimes). Is it really so ludicrous that they'd some people in the government would see how far they can push it to try gain some twisted advantage against Farage?
comment in response to post
It's entirely a problem of their own making due to the choices in language they've made previously to try pitch themselves as tough. We had Reeves pitching herself as Thatcher, the briefing about "Project Chainsaw", it makes it hard to give them the benefit of doubt when they've shown to be open to

I think part of her strategy is to wield the office of the leader of the opposition as her twitter page. No idea what the other part is though

The reaction to the trans Supreme court ruling ensured I won't vote for a Labour Party again, that speech today however pushed me towards accelerationism. Once Farage comes in as Truss 2.0 and ruins everything further maybe I'll get a British government that isn't just different shade of right wing

It's the same problem everywhere, voters want simple solutions to complex problems and don't really think far beyond the wider implications of the fallout of these simple solutions.
