The reason Jake is mad about this is because it is a poor reflection on him that his son wants to be a cop.

I hate to break it to you, but measuring moral character by baseball statistics is probably not great in the first place. I mean, they didn’t even let the blacks play against the whites for a pretty long time. So, maybe baseball as a measurement for good isn’t so, well, good.

Getting dragged like this across the internet by much smarter people, even though it’s just “what social media says” has to be the least fun thing that’s ever happened to this guy

Nah, because if this is a reality, the effective tax rate over 10million dollars will be 90% will also be a reality, so it’s cool.

Show him that speech that Jim Carrey gave when he won an mtv award for Dumb and Dumber but he was also nominated in the same category for The Mask. “I refuse to believe that I am a better actor than…myself. I refuse to believe I’m superior to me.” Lol

All Congresspeople can live in barracks. Like the Army. Or something like that. Government housing. I’m not sure why they need a beach house in Rehoboth, or wherever. They should be working.

Every day in Louisiana this happens. They can hold you in jail, with no charges, on a bond so high you couldn’t ever make it in your life, for 60 days! No charges filed for 60 days! That’s just the law, and you can’t get out bc magistrates set enormous bonds

This might be one of the dumber things I’ve ever heard. Police have never once stopped other police from violating people’s rights.

Xalatath is really an all time villain, would be very cool if she was instrumental in removing that giant sword from Azeroth, seeing as she was inside of a blade herself, maybe she knows something about removing a blade from a planet. Hopefully, maybe uncorrupted by an old god.

It would be good if you said you are running for president now. And to encourage everyone to support the most left leaning democrat running for congress in 2026, so that in 2028 you will have the congress to enact your agenda. It’s your time. It’s our time. Let’s fight!

I think it’s very possible they don’t. This is arrogance. It’s laziness. It’s corrupt. They just don’t care to keep records or notes or information. They don’t act in a way that would indicate they even know better. It’s horrifying.

Literally every restaurant that I ordered takeout from was also open for dining. Groceries open. CVS open. McDonald’s was open. Pizzerias were open. I was on Long Island, everything was open. Maybe NYC closed some stuff bc of how bad it was, but everything was open where I was.

In this era of AI bullshit art, and nonsense like this, I wonder if “a picture is worth a thousand words” will lose all meaning. But also, Tolkien described it better and in fewer words, “white shores, and beyond them a far green country under a swift sunrise”. These dorks could never

I’ve loved you since the first episode of 5-4. We are comrades in arms, maybe literally soon. But this post is actually about the important stuff. And now, I would die for you. Just a beautiful soul that must be protected at all costs. Literally always right about everything. Eat shit Texas.

If you like yogurt (I like the sugar free vanilla Chobani ones, like 6oz cups) put a handful of those chocolate chips in there and mix it up and it’s so delicious, a nice little snack. Or four. Or six.

Prison reporting is probably a good barometer. In terms of average years of life lost of a given population, the effect of the US prison system on Black folks, poor folks, vulnerable folks, the numbers are pretty horrific.

LSU did this in 2003. The punter wrote a book about it! Donnie Jones, “Nine Seconds to a Championship”, I was there. I looked at my brother and was like, “uh I think the game is over!”
