Trump reading a book? That’s a good one.

But isn’t money considered free speech? Trump should see to it that Citizens United is overturned immediately.

Sometimes you just need a good shit show distraction to take your mind off of the shit show that is reality.

Both of those statements make me sick to my stomach.

How is that worse? I’d be celebrating.

Vladimir for peace, I won’t release the pee-pee tapes and will buy an army of cyber trucks. Both of you now kiss and make up.

1.875% for me. I get mailers from Rocket Mortgage about refinancing for a lower interest rate. If I’m feeling trollish I’ll call and when I tell them my current rate they hang up. I don’t understand why. ĀÆ\_(惄)_/ĀÆ

Do it! Send him to El Salvador. Then, Musk can use his money to get out and retaliate by telling everyone how he helped rig the election.

I was thinking more Pennywise vs Bozo but that’s a good one too.

I highly doubt that anyone that voted for Mr ā€œGrab them by the p*ssyā€ convicted sex offender Trump gives a fig that he’s in the Epstein files. We all knew this pre-election and it made no difference to his cult followers then, and it means little to them now.

We’ve been watching the leopards eat peoples faces, now for the main course of the leopards turning on each other.

Questions: 1. What obligation does the president have to show Musk the bill? He’s not an elected official. 2. If I’m not mistaken, all bills in congress are public information, so why didn’t Musk take the time to access and read it? 3. Didn’t he say he was stepping away from politics?

During his time in office he: - was Anti-choice - was for cutting Medicare, Medicaid, and social security - referred to the LGBT Americans as "constitutional terroristsā€ & opposed to same sex marriage - denied climate change… He may not like Trump, but I sure as shit don’t trust him.

I can’t speak for the rest of the nation but yes, 6 months ago Chicago was cold as ice - because it was WINTER. Is it time to enact the 25th amendment yet?

As much as @costplusdrugs.com is doing, I doubt they could negotiate a low enough cost for the drugs that would really make a difference. What we need is Medicare for all.

Sadly meds for Crohn’s are considered specialty meds that run upwards of $20K a pop and have to be taken several times a year. Most of us with the disease meet our OOP max before Q2 each year which leaves insurance on the hook. Which is why they want to deny or drop coverage for the drugs.

AlsI’m not sure how close you are but U. of Chicago has some of the top doctors in the country on this disease and they have a ton of resources. They have a monthly virtual support group that I highly recommend. I join when I can. Here’s the info on that. www.uchicagomedicine.org/conditions-s...

I’m so sorry to hear about the BS you have to deal with when it comes to getting your daughters meds. As a fellow Chronie, dealing with insurance and getting your meds is a nightmare. This link might be helpful in how to fight to get her meds. www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/get-involved...

You think Boasberg will get as much or more runaround from the Trump admiration than Xinis?

Oh, I also have some gripes with Preckwinkle, but the age thing has become one of the bigger ones. I don’t disagree with you on Reilly and IMHO this is a good example of where the Dems just need to do better.
comment in response to post
My major issue with Preckwinkle is her age. She’s 78. It’s just time for her to retire and pass the torch. That does not mean I back Reilly, I’ve just really become an ageist when it comes to politicians. If you have to be 35 to run, then you need to retire at 70.

The difference being he is likely testing the waters to run for an office again, and just like the rest of them, will say anything to get elected. There in is the trust issue.

Until he gets back into a position of power. It’s just another version of the frog and the scorpion.

Didn’t Larry Ellison donate to Trumps campaign? Now he’s upset over the administrations take over of law firms? #FAFO

It means a sternly worded letter from Chuck Schumer. Who either left BlueSky because he couldn’t handle the heat, or he deleted his account.

Also, she’s doing this from a cemetery. Hopefully where she just buried her political career.
