I went to grad school at IU. Rumor was when he was there he bought a bar and started a wet T-shirt contest to bring people in. It got so big the locals shut the operation down. Not sure that background would fit with the VP of the first woman POTUS.

Transaction for judges was probably with Mike Pence. DJT needed Pence to vouch for him with the religious and establishment R's. Pence wanted Roe overturned, so he likely only agreed to be VP if Trump agreed to Fed Soc judge appoinments.

Bribery: The offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of something of value for the purpose of influencing the action of an official in the discharge of his or her public or legal duties. Allen v. State, 63 Okl.Cr. 16, 72 P.2d 516, 519. I think Qatar's purpose is to influence DJTs offcial actions

Excuse me? The “privilege” of the writ of habeas corpus? Last I checked, it was a RIGHT!

He was under investigation by numerous federal agencies for deceptive practices and securities fraud. He likely needed a corrupt President to avoid consequences of those investigations. democrats-judiciary.house.gov/uploadedfile...

This will just force more people to payday lenders. I believe in regulation but a hard 10% cap is misguided imo

Fox Business interviewed the owner of a Pennsylvania auto dealership who said of Trump's tariffs, "nobody is gonna buy the truck, because it just had $20,000 price increase."

You are setting up a situation that whoever administers these tests determine who is eligible to serve in Congress.

So all political candidates would have to approved by the Government? Isn't that what authoritatian regimes do to ensure absolute support? Better Idea: just vote for people that you want to represent you and allow others to vote for people that they want to represent them.
comment in response to post
You seem to be confident that these "tests" would be administered fairly and not manipulated to remove elected officials that get in the way.

They are probably referring to the initial digital tabulation. Could that be hacked? Probably. But eventually you would need collusion with the post election auditors to hide the evidence that the paper ballots don’t match the digital tabulation. In MI the audits are performed by the Dem SecSt
comment in response to post
My point is that would not matter. There are routine post election audits where the state compares the computer tabulations with the paper ballots. If the software was hacked we would notice a difference. We went through all of this when Trump was making these claims in 2020.
comment in response to post
The machines just tally the vote. In my swing state of MI their are paper ballots that back up the machine count. We also have a Dem AG and Sec of State that oversee the and audit the results and ballots. She lost on paper ballots too.
