I totally understand feeling betrayed by public officials when they don’t act in our interest. Which is why I feel they should feel threatened. Not physically but they should feel a threat to their position as leaders in politics. Power to the people!

They’re not gonna do it without pressure to do so. That’s where we the people come in. Contacting congress regularly is a non violent way to get your point across and it’s how antipoverty legislation was passed even during the most unproductive Congress in history
