Look for studies by Kenneth Feeley and his group (e.g., Belen Fadrique).

I thank the Ecological Society of America for their support and Organization for Tropical Studies for sponsoring the session. And I am excited to announce that #ESA2025 will include many sessions with full closed captioning, as we move towards a future where scientists can present in any language.

We heard talks translated from Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish. It was incredible to hear these scientists speak in their native languages, even emotional at times. It was not perfect, but it is the future for a more equitable and inclusive scientific community.

Careful what you wish for...so many tree water people who will tell you all kinds of weird stories about trees shrinking/swelling, water going the wrong way, water coming out of tree roots.... :)

I think this will be hard to find. I looked for what you are describing last spring and really never found it. Everything was too technical (biophysical), out of print, or ecological. Let me know if you come up with something good.

Is the Gurevitch plant ecology book a possibility?
