When I went to the Flat Earth conference in Edmonton in 2018, one of the speakers confessed at some point that even if someone flew him to Antarctica for free, he would not believe it, he would not believe his own eyes. I think about this a lot these days.

The top economics journal in the world nearly published an article that, to all appearances, is 100% bullshit. It claimed that AI accelerates scientific discovery. An MIT PhD student appears to have used generative AI to fabricate the whole thing, data and all.

I’m 46 but I had my shingrix shot because I’m worried about what RFK jr is going to do with vaccines. Shingles is a preventable illness like measles. We are so lucky to have these vaccines! I for one will not forgo them because the guy who runs government health services has a 🐛 in his 🧠

Very clear view of how Trump thinks. In order to reduce the deficit, he's somehow going to reduce taxes on "job creators", cut government services, and place tariffs on the entire world - effectively raising prices and taxes across the US. Somehow this will encourage investment in the U.S......
