I have never understood small=child you don’t look at somebody’s height to try to determine their age you look at their face and try to detect different traits associated with different age groups

Thank you not only for the essay in its original form but choosing it among the many you have to annotate and expand on. It is one of the most important works of art in my life. Me and my partner are getting a menorah this year :3

Not only am I hit with this image but I look inside and that essay is in there “The Golem and the Jewish Superheo” that essay came at a perfect time in my life and is one of many reasons I converted to Judaism several years ago and I just didn’t think it would be in this book

Anyway hope you’re well might try to find more things to fill this role because I do think it’s really interesting and hard to find something I think would genuinely fit well with the atmosphere and goals of the movie <3

If anyone reading this hasn’t listened to The Music Tapes please do so same goes with playing Kane and Lynch 2/listening to it’s soundtrack at least. I have only listened to Mona’s first album but I can already see how it translates and I highly recommend her discography as well based on that <3333

Much of the soundtrack is heavily industrial ambiance made for the games low fi shaky cam aesthetic and it is a large part of that games phenomenal atmosphere which plays against the made for the game Chinese pop that plays in the menus and in world making it very thematically effective

My number two candidate is Mona Mur an artist I only discovered quite recently because I went to listen to the Kane and Lynch 2 soundtrack and wanted to learn more about who composed it. Kane and Lynch 2 is covered head to toe in low fi compression and that extends to the music

As with most of the choices made in the film I think it only works to uphold and strengthen it BUT I have played around with the question of who I think would be good for a soundtrack if it for some reason wanted one and I have two candidates.

I have seen a lot of conversation around Skinamarink and soundtracks mostly coming down to “It should have had a soundtrack” or “There should be more soundtrack then the TV or radio” and I want to be very clear that I strongly disagree with this opinion.
