I checked my itch.io page for the first time in like. Two years. I don't do it much, because I've only got one project up and it's been up for like. 7 or so years? But it turns out I should've, because apparently people are still downloading that thang. Pretty Cool!

the biggest curse of watching gundam is that literally every series has you going "this is a 7 but i think you could improve it by doing x" without fail. i think relativistic rankings of gundam series are a scam because every single one is a Complicated 7. but also you cant stop thinking about them.

In libraries, we call this vocational awe. The idea that if you are invested in your calling, you should accept low wages/inhumane conditions is a nasty little trick of capitalism. I’m an author, I’m hungry, I care deeply about my work, AND I deserve to be paid for it.

The MLA has all the correct interpretations recorded in a special database only literary scholars can see. We’re not allowed to tell you if you have it right, but we can nod vigorously and say, “interesting,” if you’re getting warmer.
