When I worked in a sandwich shop, there was a specific combination of items that would result in a total of $6.66 after tax. I had *so* many customers just cancel their orders and walk out on us until management changed the prices.

Yep. 100%. With limited continues that are set up like single use checkpoints. It's frustrating until you learn how to avoid things properly, you get to know the layout, and realize the world just really isn't that big. And then it clicks.
