Last minute call offs for extreme weather is also nonsense
Twice now kids have had to shelter in place for a severe thunderstorm w/tornado sirens blaring - bc they waited too long
My partner is an ATC so he attends all practice/games which further upset me bc he was trapped there too!!

Football is the worst (esp off season)
Missing a few practices isn’t going to ruin a season or ruin someone’s college prospects
