I’m going to push through and do it now. Recommendations of albums is so precious.

Good point. I didn’t think of that. Still, selecting text on iOS, then sliding to select it all can be fiddly.

For me it’s the lack of precision.

I will admit to using it to draw suspect doodles and sending them to my GF 😜 - but thought it had been removed in recent updates.

Hoping for some short tuts to help me build muscle memory for the new capabilities and keyboard shortcuts. 🤞

A small bonus is that if the battery dies (lasts about 10 days) mid-brush you can still use it manually which I find impossible with the normal electric ones.

This is more than just an app update. The list of updates is massive. Like a whole new Sketch. Very impressive. Can’t wait to play with it later today. ❤️

Could I ask if you are creating that site demo in After Effects, or a screen capturing app. It’s super clean.

Nope. But happy to find this product does the job well (by that I mean my dentist is happy with my teeth) and feels like a normal toothbrush in my mouth.

Design is dead.
Everyone is trying to cook instead.

Blueskies isn’t the answer. Not to disrespect anyone who follows me here, but the vibe is different. It seems to me I am one tap away from a shitstorm. Didn’t have that feeling on the old hangout.

Never heard of these before. But now I’m googling them.

And I just found out that an app is on the horizon. That would help me use it more. It’s such a great resource for finding new music.

My tea rant relates to the tea council deciding that I have a sixth sense. I have 10 different teas none of them have the type on the tag.

Happy to go into more detail if you want. Been refining this over 20 years across many studios I’ve worked at.

For us these completed jobs are stored in a client Archive folder on Dropbox. And a copy of it is stored on a separate physical HD stored offsite. It’s a faff but when someone accidentally deletes a folder, or Dropbox bugs out and deletes a client folder you don’t die inside. /end

For that reason I also download a copy of the Sketch/Figma file. Who knows what might happen… this way you keep a copy locally.
This way you/someone on your team has 3+ ways of searching for the project in the future: by client code, project description, date… 3/

Ideally you have a folder with the same naming convention organised how you like it. When the job’s complete you move everything you might need to recreate the job in the future into a Final sub folder. 2/

It starts with new jobs. All new jobs get a three character code followed by a 5 digit number and a short text description. These job codes are entered on a spreadsheet (or your PM software if you wanna get fancy). All elements of the job get the client code+number 1/

It is damn good at apologising when you call it out for that. We could all learn from it 😜

And when will it remember that I hate Title Case Headings? No matter how many times I tell it.
