Good, yes. But not why it was stopped.
They were going to be fought day and night to even try to make it happen.
It would also set a precedent. Why wouldn’t every company on the world do that? Start as a non-profit and if things work out turn into a for-profit.

Americans that could qualify for some program in the EU tend to be people that have the skills, accolades, etc to be doing well in the U.S.
From people I personally know that really wanted to move to the EU, they balked at the steep pay cut they’d have to take.
