I don't know whether I love or hate that I understand this joke. Real men take it outside the only remaining UNIQLO in SF.

Thank you for sharing their stories. My parents were Vietnam War refugees, and unfortunately the important stories and memories get lost as casualties to the harm and trauma. I hope everyone in your book can create new memories while honoring their past and what brought them to where they are.

Asian Americans not acknowledging the inherent priviledge and opportunities they've benefitted from is maddening.

I'm sorry, he studies nothing. He mindlessly thrashes around when he doesn't get his way and leaves the world to clean up after his tantrums.

Their billboards and baked goods were a sight for sore eyes as a college student doing between Houston and Austin. Only disadvantage of taking the bus is no kolache stops on the route.

Let's give her some slack, maybe Gleason is running away from a local winter storm in her hometown and abandoning others in need.

The "wheels of justice move slowly" camp along with Clooney rolling over to say "wells, that's democracy! lulz...see yall in 3 years!" all give them the inches they need to take down the whole country. The wheels of justice move slowly, but we don't have f-ing time. Shit is burning NOW

It's hard to empathize with enablers which feels like is happening everywhere. We're at the point where following the law, playing by the rules, and taking the high road only furthers and enables. The right flouted everything, and look what ill-gotten gains it got them.

Ok, sarcasm aside, thanks for the reply. I'm not a journalist, so I'm trying hard to not judge, but jesus, they love being leopard food by staying there

So the journalists who take advantage of things like landing.google.com/advancedprot... on Google and www.facebook.com/government-n... on FB are also the same journalists who are TOTALLY cool with the cesspool public square on ex bc...the likes?

Can you share your take on Chutkan's ruling and her rejection of imminent and irreperable harm? Were the 14 states too broad in their definition, or is Chutkan being too narrow in what they consider imminent and irreperable? thehill.com/regulation/c...

of anti-Asian setiment at the hands of Black people mostly because of racism and internalized self-hatred. Media plays a big part, but the accountability largely lies with Asians themselves.

are their perpetrators. A lot of it is rooted in a gross, ignorant level of racism, coupled with a desire for white proximity. They'll forgive any sins of white people and pin it on other minorities (made very obvious in the 2024 election). Asians want to believe they are victims

I haven't looked into anti-Asian crimes in either, but there and lesser so Houston are where you have a large presence of both Black people and Asians. I never felt threatned by my Black neighbors there. Sadly, I do think it is worth examining how much Asians perpetuate that Black people
