And actually, introspecting on it now, a smart reason to watch these docs is to educate myself & keep my eyes open. Remind me to question people’s motives & learn to spot manipulation & control.
I was once ripped out of a dissociative coma & I never want to close my eyes again.

Adults that suffered from abuse & neglect throughout childhood are especially susceptible, myself included.
I would say the only group that isn’t are self loving & confident with their critical thinking skills still working. With childhood trauma, those skills are turned off for fight/flight.
