Given her horrible sportsmanship, I didn’t find it hard at all.

What a graceless thing to say. Bad sport.

Seems that way.

I think it very poor sportsmanship. And if I was her opponent, I would file complaints. Why is it that other players far better than Sabalenka -- Navratilova; Graf; Hingis -- could all play without screaming?

How would one stop them?

Well, if they really don’t want it, then they’ll turn the House and Senate Democratic in 2026, right? They have to vote in order for “not wanting it” to mean anything. And they may have to compromise in their voting, as elections are a zero sum game.

Can’t agree. I think McEnroe is one of the best commentators of the last 50 years.

No. Evert is my favorite female player. (Tied with Navratilova.)

Going Platonist, because you can't "imagine" how a municipality or number *could* exist, without being "material." I address it here in Section 3 on "Ontological Commitment." cathoderayzone.com/prolegomena/...

I think a lot of philosophers take “x exists” as having hypostatic implications. And when the thing in question is something like a number or a municipality, they start wondering if it’s “real” and dive down the hole of weird metaphysics.

What do you base this on? Or is it just a bubble that popped up from the think tank?
