I’ve been doing a lot of self-study on systems theory and cybernetics. Norbert Wiener really ticks me off by the way he writes. Gregory Bateson is excellent. Ludwig von Bertalanffy is, at the very least, clear.

calico cat named Galick Gun, GiGi for short. is this anything

Farmers market

For the gamers: I think Starfield is actually really fun now

this book kinda goes crazy

I’m so glad that episcopalians at Princeton are trying to start a journal and i’m about to send them the craziest proposal lmao

Does anybody have access to Ludwig von Bertalanffy’s “Nikolas von Kues” and would be willing to scan his introduction to it? I’m sad to be unable to find it online

I should get really into Brian Eno huh

Brian Eno calls on Microsoft to cease its partnership with Israel and pledges to donate the original fee for his Windows '95 chime to victims of Israel's genocide in Gaza

Does anyone ever figure out how to synthesize all their favorite theorists

Today, 1700 years ago, began the ecumenical council we would come to call the First Council of Nicaea. At this council various synodal epistles and canons were accepted; but chief among them was the Nicene Creed, which is still universally said today in its Nicene-Constantinopolitan revision.

Norbert Wiener seems very intelligent but I’m yet to read a book of his that makes much sense

Jean Calvin really is kinda the GOAT in a way

how exactly am i supposed to cite an epub??? why are so many books in the online library catalog on Perlego???? How do I cite this?????

I am currently in a down period of life. Really, I have been for years. Hopefully it is a period of purgation, leading to better things

You know it’s getting dire for Robinson when he’s getting ordained into sects that don’t even have a Wikipedia page.

Maybe Systems Sciences is the field I was made for

Congratulations to our 2025 Episcopal graduates at Princeton Seminary!!!

going to be a groomsmaid in a wedding today pray that nobody gets weird about it

i’m getting floored by this book i got for 80% off. lovely stuff!

This level of corruption is only possible because of the inaction and enabling of Congress and the Supreme Court. They ultimately must me considered just as corrupt as Donald Trump because they allowed this to happen.

Reading Julian of Norwich goes way harder now that i’m a woman ⚓️

Sorry not sorry ⚓

If I’m looking to publish an edition of a PD work with new foreword, annotations, and light text-critical treatment, should I be in contact with some publisher or should I pursue self-publishing

I have to choose to believe intelligent and thoughtful conservatives exist. It is getting harder and harder to maintain that will to believe every day
