After Method by Hanna Reichel is great, Glorious Bodies by Colby Gordon rocks (though it is more historically focused). Roberto Henderson-Espinoza is generally great

If there is a difference between the two I have to admit I can’t figure out what it might be. From my perspective they come to the same conclusions for the same stated reasons; I genuinely might be too pragmatist to detect the subtle distinction, though!

Sure:
I think that Julian is clearly clued in to womens' experience of religion and Jesus. Really, her whole conception of redemption seems to be firmly planted in the concept of motherhood and I at least am far more aware of that now (as well as in Scripture!) then I once was.

I have a few NRSVs I use for church purposes or keep for sentimental value. But honestly I only became more pro-KJV in undergrad and seminary and seemingly will continue in that conviction

This just seems like such a weird and heavy-handed approach to this. Who feels the need for this? To what end is this reasonably the means?
