We know this. Too bad half the country refuses to believe it. I hope the Pope says something. 🙏🏼

It was supposed to be a snack, but I ended up eating the whole almond-crusted, bacon cheddar cheese ball with crackers for dinner. I guess my second choice for dinner; a pint of lactose free, keto, cherry chip ice cream, can wait for another time. ...like, maybe breakfast. 🤔

My comic Holy Grails are modest. Got a decent Adventure Comics #300 (Legion begins) years ago. Also found unslabbed mint copies of Saga of the Swamp Thing #20 & 21 (1st Alan Moore). Then there's this one. Warrior #1 has the first appearance of V For Vendetta & Marvelman (Miracleman).

Five favorite black and white movies: It Happened One Night My Man Godfrey Wages of Fear Seven Samurai Casablanca

A novel that still resonates for all Americans in these messed up times. Please read. Do not let this happen again. Please. 🙏🏼

Like and share this and I’ll pick 5 of you to get free copies of WE ARE THE BEATLES. Buy it here: bit.ly/WeAreTheBeat.... If we ever needed a book to remind us to “Come Together,” this is it. Art by the Fab @ChrisEliopoulos . #beatles #thebeatles #bookstagram

Been under the weather for over a week now. I'm better, but still don't want to push it. Having a lazy #caturday with music and the princess Karkitty (Streaky is outside making his rounds). #Vinyl is TV EYES with half of the legendary #powerpop band #Jellyfish. Great guitar driven electro-pop!

Unpopular Pete Hegseth Forced To Drink Lunch Alone

Years ago when my trans child Martin passed away, my mom planted a rose bush in their memory. I affectionately named it Martin II, an homage to Audrey II from The Little Shop of Horrors. They ❤️'d their musicals. This year it is taking its sweet ass time, but the buds are finally popping up. Yay!

The late great Marty Pasko used to lay a LOT of text on almost every page of SAGA OF THE SWAMP THING; here's a particularly text-heavy example. So: script, Marty Pasko, pencils by me, lettering John Costanza, inks John Totleben, editor Len Wein.

Picked up a couple of vinyl records today. Nothing from #RecordStoreDay (because that's a madhouse), but from a local thrift store. The Ventures - Walk Don't Run vol. 2 (mono) is an upgrade. The Hinsons - Here Come The Hinsons is horrid country Christian music. I played one song and that was enough.

Picked up a copy of "The Bartender's Black Book" (2011, tenth edition) and am upset it doesn't include the "Flaming Homer" nor "Flaming Moe". I realize there's a shortage of "Krusty's Non-Narkotik Kough Syrup for Kids" but you can substitute plain, ordinary, over-the-counter children's cough syrup.

I finally figured it out! Now I remember where I know Dr. Robby (aka Noah Wylie) from. He's The Librarian! Yes, the beard he wore on The Pitt threw me off. Man, those movies are fun. I recommend them. I recommend The Pitt too, although, it will drive you to drink cheap beer in a park after work.

Saturday afternoon. Amazing protests throughout the country, cats are lounging and I'm listening to vinyl bangers. Life is good today.
