Yep and there lies the problem building a team too good for the championship but but for the PL. Then you need the total rebuild because tactics and formation changes are needed to stop up. But how can you do that with one transfer window and pre season to get it right

Totally agree with that mate. Plus selling Joseph for 8.5 mill allows the 9ers to spend a further 42 mill without breaking PSR rules. You are right the short term out ways the long term at the moment needs must. Understandably fans want it both ways at the moment

If we sell him for say 8.5 mil it enables Leeds to further spend 42 mil according to PSR rules. If the 9ers can use that and get someone in who score 20 goals for the next few seasons then it’s a good move as PL footy is worth far more to us than 1 player. A lot of fans need to get a grip

IMO he’s just made a come and get me statement. I’ve never got the hype around Joseph he always flatters to deceive. When I watch led him last season I couldn’t work out what he was good at sure wasn’t finishing as he lost his confidence in front of the kop in the Burnley home game.
