2/2: On Election Night, the first sign, was that MSNBC called the deep red states, but did not call deep blue states like IL, NJ, CT, RI, etc... Then the exit polls came out...... and our tv went off at 11 p.m. CDT .... we knew our nightmare was coming true....

1/1: The reputable polls were never good for us and Biden/Harris had a 38% Approval Rating...... I knew that Trump was going to win..... it was like the entire world was conspiring to get that man elected.

Worthless Hakeem Jeffries and No-Good Chuck Schumer should have stepped down after the Election WITHOUT being asked. Two of the most worthless "leaders" in my lifetime of the Democratic Party.

Careful, people like Stephanie Miller will jump all over you for raising your voice to a Democrat. Especially if that Democrat is of color.
Jeffries and Schumer both should have stepped down after the Election - WITHOUT being asked.

But people like Stephanie Miller says we shouldn't even raise our voices because they are Democrats. Especially if they are of color. She'll lightly criticize Chuck Schumer (White), but not say a word about worthless Hakeem Jeffries.....

Umm.... what about President Clinton?

Good point, but I just don't think it had much effect because of the margin Musk/Trump won in those cities/counties. NBC Exit polls pretty much lined up with the results in those swing states. Latino vote, Asian vote, and young people vote numbers were terrible for us. We have to get them back.

I read that the bomb threats had "limited" effect on voting. In Fulton County, GA, Harris ended up receiving more votes than Biden in 2020. The places that had bomb threats only reported "a few" people in line leaving and not voting. It would not have made a difference - especially in sunbelt.

Sweetie, I wasn't talking about an alcohol-related intervention.............
Ok, I will admit something to you.... I voted for Clinton in 2016, Biden in 2020, and Harris in 2024. My reason? I think women need to be controlled.

Do you want to go back to a time before Doppler radar? The Tornado Warning lead time decreased dramatically when doppler went nationwide during the 1990s.
As weather technology advances, so will the accuracy of forecasting and the crucial timeliness of Warnings issued to the public.

The TV weatherman does not issue official warnings. National Weather Services are 24/7. They not only do forecasting, but there is hydrology, fire weather, tropical/hurricanes, you name it. I can't imagine any cuts would be any good.
comment in response to

Also - your local National Weather Service operates 24/7....they are the ones who issue the weather warnings that are broadcasted on tv, radio, Internet, etc.... One office forecasts upcoming severe weather potential and issues the severe weather watches. A VERY VITAL SOURCE!!!

Please be careful @jackhopkinsfanpage.bsky.social anything negative said about Harris means you hate tough women who speak out and probably hate colored women..................
That's what I have been told when I agreed with your earlier post.
Just a sarcastic FYI.
PS: Keep up the good work!

Yep, I voted for Harris because I wanted to take rights away from you and your daughter. You got me there.....
comment in response to

Yep, that is why I voted for Clinton in 2016 and Harris in 2024 because I do not like women who speak up. If I thought VP Trump and POTUS Musk were "nicer" and I agreed with them, they would have received my vote, but that is NOT the case. I voted for Harris. You have BIGG chip on your shoulder.

What state do you live in? You might want to double check that because last I checked, some states haven't banned it completely. How are you? Does that issue really affect you? For the record, I support women's bodily autonomy.

Woman, what is your deal??? Maybe this is partly why Democratic Registrations in important states have dropped and continue to drop.... Of course I voted for Harris! I also like drinking 1 cup of hot tea in the morning with 4 BIG spoonfuls of sugar - while my wife reminds me of how unhealthy it is.

Well, this "man" voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. The first national Democrat I ever voted for. I would vote for her again. I may not agree completely with her views, but I don't question her smartness. She should have won in 2016 and we would have been in a different place than we are now.

Yep - she will never make the "Who I might support in the 2028 Democratic Presidential Primary" list.

When I first studied politics about 10 years ago.... One of things I knew I would NEVER see in my lifetime were Republicans jamming to "YMCA" by the Village People! It was never going to happen..... then, I was forcefully transferred to another timeline before Election Day 2024....

I think the ONE thing Democrats somehow did well in 2024 was to prevent Stein from receiving 1% or more of the vote. If you add her votes to Harris' votes in the swing states, Harris sill would have lost.
Many people believed that Stein was going to take 4-6% like in 2016...

Let's not forget that Trump imposed sanctions on the Nordstream II pipeline (russia to Germany) in 2019. Then, in 2021, Joe Biden pulled the plug on those... thus the pipeline was finished.
Also, it's common knowledge now that Biden's team slow-walked weapon systems to Ukraine.

2/2: Trust me, I don't like this any more than anyone else! This may be his honeymoon period. My blue state I live in has Trump at a 48% Approval Rating. In November, he received 43% of the vote. That poll was done by our State's Democratic Party (Internal Poll).
comment in response to

1/2: All the reputable polls are showing a 50% or > approval rating. What good does it do for us to say any positive polls for Trump are fake? I remember the MAGA-ots were claiming "fake, propaganda" polls when Biden's approval was above 50% in the first year of his presidency.

And.. in my state where Trump only won 43% of the vote in November; his approval rating is 48% (highest he has ever had in 2017-2020).

To be honest, I have not seen a reputable poll showing him less than 47%.
It's frustrating I know.
My wife spoke with the Democratic Party chair of our state yesterday and they are "worried" not only what he has done and what he is doing, but how his approval is "over 50%."

Yes, Trump's Approval Rating is over 50% in all reputable polls!!! πππ‘
CBS News: 53% Approval
Fox News: 50% Approval
AtlasIntel: 50% Approval
YouGov: 51% Approval
Morning Consult: 52% Approval

Of course it costs $$$. Very wasteful, but I seriously doubt DOGE will do anything about it.
With that said, Trump is a very skilled politician and attending will be a PLUS for him. Plus, he did an interview, unlike Biden did. He's 50%+ in approval in reputable polls. He's steamrolling our side...π₯π₯

Again, how does spread a bunch of BS and lies help our side. I thought we were the side of facts? It was radio shows like the one my wife listens to, that believed that Harris was up 10% in the polls.
This is why some people still say, "Both sides do it."
Our side has to stop with the BS.

It's no different than the fake pic of the latino worker with the "Trump/Vance" t-shirt on who was arrested by ICE. It's no different than that story about factory workers in "SW PA" who did not receive a XMAS Bonus because of Tariffs and now they regret voting for Trump.
This has to STOP.

On MSNBC, they talk about the very few polls that show Trump's approval 45%-47%. These polls were not accurate AT ALL in the 2024, 2020, and even 2016 elections. One poll had Harris winning NC by 4%!
They need to STOP the gaslighting and report FACTS. Even facts that I do not like!!
