I believe that the greatest solutions to our most pressing issues, adhere to tenets of Cooperation & Compassion; anything short of that is insufficient to sustain us all, and ought be rejected.

I do this at work. And I work at Harbor Freight.
Got to watch an elderly man meltdown over tariffs increasing the price of his wagon wheels, and had to explain to him how they worked.
We settled on, I'll eff myself and he won't be coming back ever again!!1!

core childhood memory of being called "a trendsetter" unlocked

I don't have some long winded, well thought out thread for everyone interact with. These are my genuine thoughts and struggles with the movement, and although I can recognize it, I worry that I'm hampering the movement the longer I remain ignorant to a solution on how to move forward.

At what point am I enabling disingenuous/bad faith efforts as opposed to "fighting the good fight"? Where is that line in the sand, and who draws it?

I mention this because I've been struggling with empathy for my kin in Southerners. I struggle with giving grace in the context of "well they're impoverished and gerrymandered and deeply oppressed and propagandized..."
aren't we all, though? are these not the same issues we all struggle through?

baby steps that, on an individual level, appear to only have a local effect.
yet, empathy remains fundamental in the revolution, like the fasteners and glues in a house. without these granular deployments of empathy within our spaces, we lack the ability to cement the bricks of change together.

They're banking on "but I'll ask forgiveness for my sin before I die so I'm okay"
oh you sweet summer children, their God does not claim to be a fool yet you all believe you can fool God with simple dishonesty in your heart? Asking forgiveness for something they aren't sorry for
Bless their hearts

can't wait until we get to the Actually Religion Was Always An Emotional Crutch For Intellectually Dishonest People To Stand On stage of things, so that we can recognize how Religion is just institutionalized hierarchy and serves only those who wield it's power as authority over others.
