Everything was fine until Trump decided to unleash violent raids w/o grounds in elementary schools, shopping areas, & peaceful public spaces.
ICE then illegally blocked Members of Congress entry into the facilities they are disappearing people into, escalating the situation.
Let’s start there.

The 2024 election left a group of left/lib pundits so distraught that they internalized the idea that their opinions are horribly unpopular and that their best chance of ever winning again is to make concessions everywhere. Noticeably, their counterparts on the other side never once broached this!

Also which is it? Are Bluesky users inconsequential smol beans or giants who could tip the ideological balance of the country if they posted on a different site?

they had a bleh start to the season that made people underrate their roster too.

if you went to the West Bank, and your take away from that was “Innocent people in different countries deserve to be killed”, you’re this administration’s dream leftist. Literally could not play into their hand any further lmao

If this line of questioning inevitably ends with you saying “ and that’s why I think it was justified to kill innocent civilians” you can just head back to Twitter and be with like-minded people

Shocked that your side has had minuscule success with such palatable beliefs like “Terrorism is a meaningless word”

The default for Polish leaders is extremely anti-Russia so I doubt Putin views any result in this election as a win for him either way. Nawrocki floated the idea of cutting all diplomatic ties with Russia a couple weeks ago

That would require those politicians to have sincere beliefs. Most of them don’t and are either eager/not opposed to throwing people under the bus.

Twitter also took quite a while to get to what it was, the site had a very different user base and focus in 2012 vs 2022. Bluesky shouldn’t become Twitter but it’s also probably way too early to declare it as a failure in that regard

This isn’t the same but the bellyaching about the lack of growth is starting to get reminiscent of the same growth mindset that is making a lot of workplaces cancerous. They’re just yelling GROW GROW GROW with no further idea of what that would entail/if it’s even necessary.

Terrible style of play, atrocious decision. Foul baited his way to a trophy.

yeah i feel like a lot of this "Biden coverup reckoning" is a circle jerk between legacy media elites and establishment dems who are trying to perform accountability to prove theyre a different party. But they're not doing accountability about anything that actually matters to voters

Actually wondering: Do any other countries have to experience this extremely annoying discourse or is this strictly an American thing to be blaming a lot of current ills on remote learning from 3-4 years ago

Nephews don’t know about Kurt Eichenwald in his prime (frantically tweeting how he didn’t look up tentacle freakiness)

There needs to be a comprehensive piece detailing how many people in the current admin are electoral losers or exiled business/law figures. Seems like a nearly intentional effort to punish Americans who didn't vote for grotesque candidates.

The best argument against communism is talking to literally anyone who identifies as communist. No amount of ideology and theory debates can overcome the extremely offputting comments and conduct of your local avowed communist lol

My only explanation (might be cope) is that she is totally uninterested in running for national positions and would just like to remain a Michigan figure for the foreseeable future. Still doesn't excuse doing an about-face, but would be a half decent explanation?

I’m 99.9% sure she’s full of it. Family owned a company and she has 2 degrees from Ivy League schools. Total cosplayer, fully integrated member of the elitists she claims to be against

The post is easily viewable, he absolutely had extremely deranged people in his replies calling him Blue MAGA for claiming Hitler wasn’t a fan of the US lol

Agreed, and that's kinda why I think some teams might be willing to throw you a good deal for him. Obviously there needs to be a plan beyond "let's see what we can get". There's no real great options, I just hate to think this era will fizzle out with no real memorable results.

That "good chunk of the season" qualifier is what gets me though. He played his worst ball right when we needed him to turn it up a notch, and the playoff series vs the Lakers still leaves a sour taste in the mouth. This is his 7th season, I think the ceiling has been reached.

I fear GG and Vince were just products of getting minutes on an awful team. The Kuzma specialty.

Disclosure: Did not listen to Lowe's podcast. Ja is clearly untouchable, he has brand power no Memphis player has ever reached before. That's worth its weight in gold for small market pro teams. I'd be more willing to listen to JJJ trade proposals, I don't like how he's stagnated as a player.
