Alberta premier Danielle Smith has made it clear that she is a separatist who wants to take her province out of Canada. What a traitorous Trumpian dingbat!

As usual, Donald Trump is a menace and needs to be shut down before he poisons any more of the world with his rhetoric. Also, his stupidity. I mean ffs...

Alright, so with Australia's elections secured, it's time to turn my gaze onto the latest round of protests on the streets of the United States. Good job Australia! Let's see America rise to the occasion! Look at Australia's example and FIGHT, America! FIGHT! #Resist #MayDay #HandsOff

I do want to say thank you to all of the Aussies in my comments who have helped me learn about their politics on the fly. I'd never seen anything about Australian politics before last night, but the state of the world made me invested. So thank you all very much for the education. Love from Canada.

I bet, if we keep tossing this image of Trump as the Pope around the internet, we might just scare the Vatican enough that THEIR voting swings like Canada and Australia's has.

So, of course as I watch the Australian elections, I'm looking at three different sources to see what's going on, so I'm seeing different maps showing me how the voting is laid out across ridings and regions. Still, this is a LOT of red! (red and green are sort of on the same side right?) #auspol

Just woke up (eventually had to go to bed about six hours ago) and the first thing I did was check on the Australian elections. Holy sh*t, Australia! You're getting a Labour government, but you're as close to a majority now as the Libs got for us. Way to go Australia! Applause from Canada. #auspol

So, my initial (EARLY) impression based on these tiny little red specks here is that, very much like Canada, the left wing voters in Australia tend to congregate in cities and that's where essentially all of their seats are going to come from. Does that generally sound about right? #auspol

Alright, well, colours on maps are happening. They're just popping out of nowhere as I watch the results begin to trickle in for the Australian elections. It's still super early, though, and I know this isn't really representative of the final result.

Is it happening? Are we into the results section yet? (Yes, I know we have to wait for counts to come in, I'm just feeling impatient). But are we in that stretch now where we get to see the numbers start? I have the live election results open. Is it finally time, Australia!?!?
