When I finally got an invitation a couple of years ago I was pretty happy, but then ran across a post where a self-identified elders were meme-policing. They were listing things you shouldnāt say here like ātell me youā¦without telling me youā¦ā

JD is a snake who will bide his time joining ranks with whoever looks like theyāre going to come out on top. I donāt imagine that guy has 1 ounce of loyalty in him.

I bet they were stressful, especially because you had your daughter. The good thing is that I donāt have dependents. So it could be a lot worse for me.

Thank you for the positive thoughts. It will be a miracle if it doesnāt happen, though.

Itās good? Iām a little worried about getting laid off in the next month or so, so Iāve canceled all my streaming. I will rotate services and binge stuff as shows finished. Iāll make a note of that one.

No, and Iām not someone who has always thought my country was perfect. This is beyond anything I could have imagined outside of a fictional movie where we have been successfully invaded by a hostile nation.

I didnāt know you were over here. Iāve only been seeing your stuff the few times I log onto Twitter for a baseball account. How long were you out of power?

The first time I heard ābutā, then after reading Mattās post didnāt hear anything but āorā, but now when I watch it, if I think about one of the words right before he says it, thatās the one I hear.

This is how I see your reply underneath Acynās post, but when I tap on your reply, itās not there. Never seen that before.

Not confused, but blessedly when I got here there werenāt a lot of elders self-describing as such. But I ran across an entire comment thread of a few letting new blueskiers which word memes they shouldnāt use. E.g., ātell meā¦without telling me youā¦ā They were the first people I blocked on here.

Weāre supposed to get rain all through the holiday weekend :( but so far no storms are predicted. I wish I could send half of it to you.

Yes. I saw the full clip one time, and his love for Saget was so genuine. I get a little lump in my throat when I read the interview where Bob talks Norm, itās so clear how much he missed his friend.

Bob Saget told the story behind it in an interview when Norm died.

When I think about Gottfried and Saget, Iām reminded of the documentary, The Aristocrats, about the boundaries of comedy and featuring comedians telling the ācomedianās jokeā. Gotfriedās version (and when he told it) is considered the most outrageous, but Sagetās is right there behind it.

I was in the car when the sirens went off tonight. Then I got a notification from Ameren that my area was out of power. So I got all my devices, got back in the car to charge them all. š
Glad you didnāt have any damage and hope youāre safe tonight. Weāre supposed to get more storms tomorrow!

Iām okay but I just lost power. :( ļæ¼ I didnāt have any damage or power outage on Friday, which surprised me. We had some big hail, but it did not dent the car. It was a wild tornado. It touched down and went for 22 miles, and at one point it was a mile wide.

That sequence might be my favorite of all ST movies. The look on Hemsworthās face when he realizes he wonāt be getting off the ship and when theyāre naming the baby. āTiberius? Are you kidding me?⦠letās call him Jim.ā I weep every single time I watch it. The score alone kills me.

Iām going to have to fence mine this year. No groundhogs, but too many squirrels.

I would not have guessed 21 years. So now Iām wondering how I watched it. I wonder if it was a Redbox rental.

Wow, I do not remember those actors in it. I saw Cold Mountain when it first streamed, and while I think it is a good movie, itās not onu I enjoyed enough to ever watch again. Iāve noticed my multiple-watch movies list has gotten gotten smaller.

I find it very hard to follow who replied to whom on here. Bsky could take a note from the bird on that. Or is there a flow Iām not aware of?

Oh I understand. Plenty of movies I love unfortunately have awful people in them or were made by them. But I canāt not watch them.
