Often we are not asking the right questions. Instead of asking if we should pay less or more taxes, we should ask if we want to manage something in common or individually. If it's in common, we need to fund it in common.

With the new US, EU can no longer rely in the old divide, hard power for the US while Europe uses soft power. EU needs to rebuild its hard power, for the sake of its survival.

At least in EU, there is eIDAS authentication system in place. One option could be to have verified and unverified accounts. Doesn't mean real id would be disclosed. Could be dangerous so would need a way for provider just know it's a valid person and authorities to not know the id of the user.
