Satire?

The DfE made the claim, and experts are backing it. What is the problem?

Fair enough. As I said, I believe that her era is closer to the original premise of the show—for better or worse, Whittaker's episodes have a lot more in common with classic Doctor Who. There are aspects I think the current era does far better, others far worse.

This era is criminally underappreciated.

This has always been the case- nothing to do with Reeves.

Thanks.

What is a Dormant Assets scheme?

“Whether it’s lowering the tax burden on working people or ensuring support for the most vulnerable, Reform is serious about delivering solutions – not soundbites.”. Are they serious?

So not austerity?

React does sometimes come across as needlessly complex.

My condolences to you. I hope you've got people around to support you at this time.

That is illegal is it not?

Same.

Lol.

I did this too. I can't entertain people making such ludicrous claims.

You're just being silly now, I'm afraid.

Improved workers' rights- Farage against. Net zero- Farage against. Improved renters' rights- Farage against. An EU trade deal- Farage against. Free breakfast clubs for children- Farage against. Free at the point of use, NHS- Farage against. ECHR- Farage against.

Objectively untrue.

It is impossible to like everything a Government does, and it would be cultish if you did. It is essential to challenge the Government's failures and recognise the policies that will improve the country.

The demand for buses is comical. The ban on public ownership of buses was lifted months ago, and if I'm not mistaken, several local authorities have said they plan to take buses into public ownership.

Labour is set to introduce the toughest measures against tax avoidance yet. The ban on public ownership of buses was lifted months ago. Capital gains tax has gone up, arguably not enough, but progress is being made in all the areas you have listed.

I'm slightly more to the left than Starmer and Reeves, but I do believe they are trying to improve things. Sure Start was also Gordon Brown's policy, one of the most transformative introduced by a Government. Labour not singing one hundred per cent to the tune of MPs does not make them right-wing.

True.

What annoyed me was his stating that we should have another National Inquiry into the grooming gangs amid Jess Phillips receiving death threats and bullying from Musk. The comments were of an abysmal timing, which could have encouraged Musk to go further.

Ha ha ha. True.

It is such a waste that Ncuti Gatwa, whom I was starting to warm to, will forever have his Doctor overshadowed by the fact that he was sandwiched between David Tennant and Billie Piper. Also, Archie Punjabi was terrific, but wasted—a monumental shame.

Yep.

Agree. I think they need someone like Alistair Campbell in charge of comms. Yes, this Government has shot itself in the foot several times, but I believe the largest problem facing it currently is a communications one.
comment in response to post
Absolutely. I'm glad the Government will target the WFA only for those in need. It is also commendable that they have listened to concerns about the eligibility level and are seeking to tweak it.

I used to watch it as a child, and I still willingly watch it now. It is hilarious. Also, the mayor is based on Boris Johnson, and you cannot convince me otherwise.

While elements of the immigration policy go too far for my liking and, to an extent, come across as an attempt to woo Reform voters, it is evident that since the local elections, Starmer has stepped up his game in attacking Farage where he is weak, not where he is strong.
comment in response to post
Ha ha.
comment in response to post
Exactly. Incredibly biased reporting from them.
comment in response to post
It does appear that Starmer is learning the lessons of the local elections.

Same. Ha ha ha.
