It's kind of cheap but my late aunt's portable light takes regular batteries and none of that usb recharging crap. If only I could find a lamp like it with a better build quality.

I'm not a huge animator but I always thought these moves that can be parkourish, were really cool and I thought it'd be cool attempt to animate them. Right now it's in stick-figure form but eventually it'll be an actual character. Eventually... #animation #parkour

People are complaining a lot about Google and always sharing the alternative search engines. One I found myself accidentally was occamm.com It's more of a research engine that lets you narrow down search from a pool of tags. I think it's a great idea but it takes more time to use. #degoogle

I know how people lately have been talking about how #Tumblr is OK again and all but what no one mentions is that they require you to log in to view more than a few posts. Unless of course I'm mistaken. But this would make it hard for people w/o an account to view your art blog.

When I'm working on a big project in #blender3d, I literally write a to-do/goals list with the text tool right in the model itself. It helps keep things together. It looks funny in 3d but it works.

AI art and photos flooding image search makes finding art references and inspiration torturous. Ugh make it stop!

I can't believe I pay $130 a year for a note app that manages to break itself every update or even restore basic functions to its mobile apps (multi-select). The only app that comes close to #Evernote is UpNote and UpNote still lacks stuff. Obsidian doesn't auto-title. And I need multi-window.

I finally did a profile picture. I spent too long on it but I wanted to humanize it. #profile #artist

Rough week reminded me of this picture I did.

As if the election results weren't already bad, I was already going through a series of nasty spells of panic and depression this week. This is how it feels at times.

From 2011. I love the bass guitar. Krist Novoselic's bass work for Nirvana has awed me since I was so young, especially in Lithium. Note: the plaid on her skirt was made line-by-line. #anime_art #bass_guitar

I never used Twitter the way it was intended to be used. Just browsed my following list rather than Discover. So this is my first Twitter-like experience and it's an adventure!

SimpleMind is mindmap software that lets you link local files as shortcuts so that you can open them directly into their software. It can help you organize art files and other creative stuff. Not a shill, I just love it. Also you buy it, no monthly fee. #productivity #art #software

Cardboard box interior light study Part of an interior light study project. I put packing tape on the interior to make for a glossy surface. It's all a WIP. #art_study #digital_painting

Working on some short videos about this buy-once software SimpleMind that can keep all your files together while you work on huge projects. You add file shortcuts, not the actual files. This map just lets you organize them cleanly. #file #organization #projects #software #art #mindmap

Here's my first #anime #art post here. Right in time for #Halloween. Wish I had a dog to get cozy with. #anime_girl #german_shepherd

I learned something a while back. If you're waiting for something and you count the seconds, you don't get as impatient, and you can gage whether or not to move on better. This applies to real life and technology.  We can be very bad at keeping track of time.

Suffering is relative. A kid who drops an ice cream cone is entitled to cry because that ice cream meant the world to them. I can cry over spilt milk if I want to.

I got this handheld trackball mouse at Christmas of last year because I use a laptop in bed and mouses aren't the best experience in bed. I love it so much but the button situation is janky and there are almost no other options like it in the market.
