As other said, they do exist, but I think some skeptics think that having some city run grocery stores means that private grocery stores will not not exist and they will, this is about offering more options.

You are able to run on multiple party lines. For example, Mamdani will be the Democratic candidate, but he will also be on the Working Families Party line, so if Cuomo had won the primary, he would have still had his independent ballot line and it’s not uncommon to see people on more than one line.

I only found out they had raised the age by so much last year and was able to get it. And only because I asked about it. No one mentioned it.

With him, you don't question that he has actually had conversations with fellow New Yorkers. Not just on the campaign trail. Not only can he empathize, there's warmth, curiosity, and the ability to connect with stories. No condescension.

From all context every time he says it, yes.

The HPV vaccine is approved for up to age 45 and many people don’t know that. Many adults, older millennials, and others were maybe just out of range when it was approved initially. Some more people really do need to know that.

There are many people who wouldn’t know how to tell a story or connect experiences or to know how to respond with empathy and understanding. The physical beauty is absolutely there, but those qualities are so necessary.

Especially when both of those people take their time to talk to people who disagree with them or haven’t heard of them, or have their doubts, because that’s and being able to have that skill, it’s the people skills and the empathy that really make the difference.

Yes, to everything you said. I voted for the policy and the full package, but that ability to connect with people and to exude that warmth and to feel like, you know what, this guy knows how to care about people, is one of the reasons why he was first on my ballot.

I have not, and now I must find this.

They were! And that relatability was so important here.

I watched a number of them in languages I don’t speak because that was incredible outreach. And the Spanish (which I do speak) one made me laugh, especially when they started accusing him of using AI and then he’s like no, Spanish is kicking my ass, but I’m doing this myself.

I totally responded to the wrong comment. But it also does smell like whatever people are smoking as you pass by.

Whenever we drove down to spend time with small town family as a kid, when people found out where I was from, (born and raised in Brooklyn), they would either repeat those stories or act like it was a miracle that they had me present in front of them because everything is basically a war zone.

Of all of the good feelings, many of us are feeling tonight, this statement means so very much. Thank you again for all of the work.

Thank you for saying that. I’ve seen so many people spout nonsense about him just doing things for a stunt because he’s running a campaign and no, that’s just his work that he’s been doing for a long time in many different ways. I look forward to supporting him in whatever he does next.

As someone born and raised here, that argument has always been so ridiculous. Obviously what they’re afraid of is living, or even growing up, in a place with so much diversity, where the fearmongering doesn’t work so well.

Well, the general election is not until November, and Cuomo and Adams already declared they’d run independently. Cuomo said whether he won the Democratic nomination or not, he would still run as an independent and honestly I hope he just goes away but he has too much ego for that.

Given his age it's virtually guaranteed that Zohran has played Skyrim. For transparency he must post his save file so we can see which questline he did

She was probably banking on a position in an administration.

This, and I remember a report saying that he didn’t even have a ground team until like, this past weekend. He expected to coast so he laid low.

A huge thank you to everyone who put up with the heat, the rain, to reach so many New Yorkers!

This is what we are terrified about here, because my mother has her independence because of PCA hours via Medicaid. She was in rehab, which turned into a nursing stay for reasons, and she was miserable in there. We fought to get her back home, to her relief.

Also, others out there who believe they can make a difference or who need a little bit of a nudge to believe in possibility, even if you are starting on a school board or a local district council, please look at this, and learn from these efforts.

It has been truly impressive and encouraging, watching and seeing people connect with others and letting them know the truth. The patience, energy, the empathy, and the active listening. Whatever happens, we want to see more of this. (And the WFP slate, whatever “next” means).

It has been raining a lot recently, so I’ve had a few opportunities. I love the variety in the shells, the different sizes of snail. The way that maybe they are traveling sideways or upside down or sometimes on the edge of the building.

After rain, snails.🐌 To make sure I don’t step on any, to look at them go about their way. Always cute too.

Sotomayor: "Given its conduct in these proceedings, the Government’s posture resembles that of the arsonist who calls 911 to report firefighters for violating a local noise ordinance."

Cherries are my favorite. ❤️ But I’m loving the blueberries and watermelon too. I love summer though, and the seasonal produce is only one reason.
