I've been trying to find a board game store in my area with a space I can see myself coming back to and I'm glad to say that @buttonshy.bsky.social hit all the things I've been looking for (And I might have walked out with all the expansions to Skulls of Sedlec 😅)

I already started "The Ending Fire" so I guess that's not so much a hopeful but something I'm actually reading this month lol

Get anything else done: level impossible

I was surprised I got to so many of my hopefuls for last month! Especially since I always seem to forget to account and plan for the Trans Rights Readathon lol

just added a bunch of new prints and stickers in my kofi shop, including new budget friendly mystery bags! 🌺✨ ko-fi.com/tyiart/shop ✨🌺✨🌺✨🌺✨🌺✨🌺✨🌺✨ #bsnm #artwork #lgbtq #handmade #artshop #stickershop

March Reading Wrap-Up and my progress through reading challenges! 📚

A huge number of people in Gaza are being displaced and losing all they have or spending a fortune to transport it. No aid is getting in and food prices are exorbitant. If you see more people and they seem more desperate, please treat them the way you’d hope someone would treat your family.

Okay I started "The Deep" but I don't think I'll be able to finish it tonight. I'll likely finish it this week so I went ahead and made a $100 donation towards Jefferson Pride Care of South Jersey to wrap up my readathon this year

Was able to binge "Single Player" as an audiobook and really enjoyed it! I was so invested in their slow burn and I will always give bonus points for a romance not relying on a third act breakup. We'll see if I can squeeze in one more book for the final day of the #transrightsreadathon

When one of our volunteers made this post >3 weeks ago, there were ~500ish bills being considered and only 5 had passed. 😔 We love how bright and joyful our feed has been the last 11 days, but we also want to remind people that 11 days of reading is only the start. #trr25 #transrightsreadathon

There's not a ton of time left in the #transrightsreadathon but here's my current progress! I'm hoping to listen to a lot of the audiobook for "Single Player" over the next two days and hopefully get a good chunk of "The Deep" done at my Silent Book Club meetup tonight.

Just finished Book #3 for the #transrightsreadathon ! A wonderful novella that presents an ecological dystopian tale that is just as much anti-colonialist as it is hopeful for the future of Puerto Rico I really loved the blend of indigenous mythology and historical events in such a compact story

UPDATE: FINISHED IT While I don't think I love this one as much as the first book, definitely still a fantastic read. The last third had me HOOKED and THAT CLIFFHANGER AHHHHH That makes "The Battle Drum" the second book I've finished for the #transrightsreadathon !

OKAY I finished the audiobook for the memoir "A Two-Spirit Journey" by Ma-Nee Chacaby yesterday I'm hoping to finish another book today. Not sure if I'll meet my 5 book goal I set out at the beginning of the #transrightsreadathon but gonna try my best

Work has pushed up priorities for me but I'm still determined to finish my TBR for the #transrightsreadathon 😤😤 I'm almost 50% through all my current reads and I'm hoping to get some of those finished to pick up the last 2 books I wanted to read!

When I said I love all the books I started for the #transrightsreadathon, I really meant it hahaha

So being the little mood reader I am, I thought I would start some of the books in my #transrightsreadathon TBR to figure out which one I'm feeling the most. Turns out the answer is all of them, and now I don't know which of the three to focus on most LOL

Yesterday was the cover reveal for my adult debut w/ @sagapressbooks.bsky.social! YOU WERENT MEANT TO BE HUMAN follows a mute, autistic trans man forced into an unwanted pregnancy, a violent group of desperate outcasts, and the hive of man-eating alien bugs that control their lives.

I promise I'm working on bringing down my physical TBR numbers...the library has just been really tempting lately

in retrospect it's kind of funny that sci fi was like "imagine a world where robots gain sentience, but humanity refuses to grant them personhood" but in reality every loser techbro loser thinks chatgpt deserves more rights than like, actual people

Finished Water Moon faster than I expected, so I'm getting a head start on the thickest book on my #transrightsreadathon TBR

Trump says libraries are unnecessary. We disagree. This latest executive order fires 75 federal employees and ends funding for 125,000 libraries that serve more than 1.2 billion patrons in person and even more online. Here are 7 things you can do right now 🧵 #wewillnotbesilent #showupforlibraries

Water Moon has had me craving tea since I started it, and I just so happened to have Gyokuro green tea bags from my local tea store!

Honestly not that surprised, I used to be intimidated by fantasy and now I'm diving right in to all the series that I was scared of!
