We have the same nonsense here in the UK, with a party in actual government with an actual huge majority listening to it. It’s hugely frustrating; there are no votes to be won from the right by progressive parties aping their rhetoric.

I’m not sure you understood my point, which was restricted to the Hitler Jugend, which was always there, but not in charge until there was nobody else left. The comment had nothing to do with the Holocaust.

We bought our freeholder out on a Belsize Park flat in 1999. It cost about that much. The freeholder was the Church of England!

That’s Belgravia and some of Mayfair. Holland Park, Chelsea, Kensington have a lot of freehold property.

All I can think of when I see that photo is a bulldog bothered by a wasp that has flown into its mouth.

Not so well, but he’d be quite pleased about some aspects of the modern world.

There is every chance we will end up with Farage claiming to have campaigned against Brexit.

I think we all know the answer to that: they are aware of just how thin their veneer of hypermasculinity is.

Ha! I remember. My stongest memory of that extreme agitation that comes when you are lost and worried about missing a flight is from a square with the metro running overhead on ironwork.

Now I’m tempted to drive to Switzerland to hear Apple Maps say some hilarious Swiss place names in an English accent, e.g. W*ankdorf and C#nter.

Google and Apple are equally bad. I have to switch language when I speak the language because it’s excruciating. Long, multi-word, French street and town names are hilariously badly expressed, particularly if they contain an abbreviation like “St” or “Ste”.

That happened to me with my parents and brothers in the ‘80s. It was of course my Mum’s fault, according to my Dad.

We once got badly lost in Milan trying to get to Malpensa to drop off a hire car before flying home. It was a stressful as you’d imagine and simply wouldn’t happen today.
Once ended up in central Naples at 5pm on the way to the Amalfi coast. Traffic insanity!

As a lawyer, but not a public law specialist, it seems pretty clear to me that Trump has been acting ultra vires.

Shows me that the electoral college must be abolished… the majority are being governed by the minority .. created in 1787 and only 13 states existed… Ghe popular vote must be adopted so all votes are equal …Also pass a law the requires all persons over the age of 18 vote…These laws are needed !
