Project Liberal is @joshuaeakle.com's org. More libertarian taking back the word "liberal" than modern DNC liberal. I can't speak to how armed he is personally, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have an issue with an armed populace.

If you use biometrics (some would say "don't," but it allows complex passwords that wouldn't be reasonable to type in every time), know how to immediately disable them (or power off your phone) & proactively do so before possibly interacting with gov't agents.

Judge Session: I see no evidence of risk or danger of any kind. The court orders ICE to release Rümeysa Öztürk from custody IMMEDIATELY. She is free to return to her home in Massachusetts. Also free to travel within Mass and VT. I'm not going to restrict her travel, because I see no danger of flight

The wiki article on trounds indicates there's "tround adapters," essentially a plastic sleeve that goes over standard rounds. Of course, you'll probably either want to be 3d printing those or picking them up, as I doubt they're easy to source.

Useful in the modern era? Probably not. But so ingenious and unique it definitely fucks.

I had a friend who had one randomly explode on him and cut up his leg a bit. Didn't end up costing them much. He was fine with the night being comped, but it could have been worse.

My guess: giving them enough rope to hang themselves badly enough that SCOTUS won't bail them out of civil contempt confinement. Give them every chance to comply so that they can't claim the contempt was unintentional on their part or nitpicking by the judge.

The bullet points read as if Alito hasn't followed any news on how this administration has been operating in the last 90 days. It's naive on the level of someone who needs active protection from elder abuse.

There are also perhaps state crimes, such as ordering people to be kidnapped. I guess we'll see, assuming our nation bears any resemblance to its former self in 4 years.

Unfortunately, he probably learned enough last go-around that he's going to be our first test of a self-pardon. Also unfortunately, he'll probably win that argument based on the pardon clause wording. So it'll be a question of who he doesn't pardon. Though we could always extradite him to The Hague

The notice requirement is separate from the habeas proceedings, so any judge can issue that TRO. They already had an open case before him with an established class, so that's why Boasberg. On the future habeas class that they're planning for those in CECOT, DC (thus Boasberg) makes the most sense.

We don't even need to debate the tariffs. Absolutely everyone who isn't paid to say otherwise says they're a bad idea. Even the paid ones know it's a bad idea. And the markets will make it a self-correcting problem. The tariffs are the distraction, not the egregious violations of human rights.

Thanks for the breakdown of this, Chris. I really appreciate your work. I'm sorry that you have to deal with people who just want to yell & who refuse to read in order to get the information out. I do wonder why Boasberg chose criminal rather than civil contempt, but I trust he has a plan in mind.

I'm not personally a fan of AOC, but Schumer doesn't have the will to fight Trump. He has no business being in the Senate right now. AOC has the best shot at beating him in a primary.
