I doubt it regardless, Blizzard ip has very bad monetization on prior mobile games (Diablo Immortal on mobile is infamous). I'm just happy for any Overwatch lore crumbs we will get from the Ow3MOBA. I'll be f2p IF I do play. I really want a spinoff game that explores Overwatch's worldbuilding...

Nexon is publishing for Overwatch3, but are publishing AND developing for a new Starcraft game from what I see in the news? The report lists the mobile moba project as 'Overwatch 3'
So I guess mobile spin off games are to be expected from the ips going forward.

Real. Nexon is p2w and likes shutting down games early, so I am cautious about this announcement. BUT... a MOBA could lead into getting Overwatch an MMO. And gosh, I would love to see a Overwatch MMO one day just for the world building.

I presume it will not play like Deadlock because it's on mobile (Deadlock's 3d navigation/aim would be ideal for an OW3MOBA imo).
I do think the MOBA builds might have similarities to Stadium builds.
It's Nexon though, notorious for p2w and shutting down games early. So I am very cautious.

Yeah, the only expensive skins should be 100% toward charity skins like pink mercy. No idea why overwatch never leaned into "be a hero while you play your favorite heroes!" and set up more charity skins to do some good. Sojourn could be autoimmune disease charity, etc. Have it relate to the hero.

Yeah. Even with inflation factored in, virtual cosmetics in a game aimed at Teens should NEVER be over $15 USD.
There are some $5 packs with 3 skins + 500 coins, normal pricing.
$40-$75 is irl outfit money, It's absurd.
For reference: The Overwatch 2 PVE pack is $5 for the levels + $10 in coins.

I think the community would prefer a Frozone style speed perk over an og freeze perk. Mei freeze is evil to bring back lol, it will be as unfair as og flashbang if not worse because characters are more mobility based these days.

I was curious why quick dash wasn't a double jump to begin with. Her ult was fine before imo...? She pops ult often because of her passive, the ult buff wasn't needed imo. I have a feeling enemy Sojourns will be feasting on Freja this meta lol

Considering the messy release of 6v6 modes, and confusion on how dailies can be completed and where a modern 6v6 can be played, I am happy that it got enough players. 6v6 allows tanks to be tanks, and limiting tanks to 2 prevents GOATS. I hope 6v6 max2tank replaces 5v5 open que going forward.
