I’m a Reader living in the Sequoia National Forest, learning photography & birding. 🤓 I do follow some political feeds, but rarely comment. Just trying to stay informed. Unapologetically pro-Vax. #Nerdfighteria #DFTBA #EndTB #birding #p4a2025

We’re concerned about this in the Sequoia National Forest, too! The public lands sell-off needs to be removed from the Senate bill like it was in the House. At least in our area, this is not residential development land. This is forest and river-ways.

WTH?? That man is completely nuts.

So much love to the evacuating Canadians. We live in the US Sequoia National Forest and our family has fled from wildfire several times. We see you and hope you can return home very soon.

I countered the “vaccines cause autism” lie that my DIL called to tell me about with research-based facts.🤦‍♀️

41. Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green A very insightful and informative book that is easy to absorb. Learnt so much about tuberculosis and the horrific things it does to people. Would recommend! 📚💙

For the #Nerdfighteria community, it was interesting to read that several Danaher companies (focus of a recent #EndTB cost-reduction effort) were involved & evidently provided their portion of the gene therapy at cost. I think it’s good to acknowledge when problematic companies do a good thing.

I never thought to use the word ‘smooth’ to describe a bird. But the Waxwings are exactly this! I think I’ll consider ‘smooth’ for my resident mated pair of Eurasian Collared Doves, too.

Well, if we can’t buy food at the grocery store, I suppose we can use the food banks. Oh wait. 🤦‍♀️

WTH?! Maybe not if she has a wealthy son to fall back on, but we don’t have that! Our landlord and grocery store won’t take IOUs!

I’ll chime in with a SFF and Mystery combo featuring The Midsomer Murders series and Six Wakes by Mur Lafferty. I enjoy her mashups! 🪐📚⚡️

This is what happens when those who are coding don’t have a clue about the data that they are dabbling in! It’s such a newbie error to program a search for “transition” without knowing what it means in context to the dataset.
