Back from the wonderful Tolkien Days in Geldern, I had a blast. Between music, cosplayers, so much to look at, a market, and even some lectures on different Tolkien things, I highly recommend it. Also I snatched a first printing Silmarillion for less than a new one would cost 😎

Starting a game like Baldur's Gate 3, which so well encapsulates the feeling of an actual ttrpg campaign, makes me want to play a fantasy ttrpg again - it's been so long, except for one-shots. I never had much nostalgia for D&D though - mine was The Black Eye.

Getting back into BG3 and starting from scratch means I can finally add Karlach to my main party - my first time playing I got her relatively late and was already pretty set on Lae'zel being my frontline, but I love Karlach as a character.
