7) Call your friends, go on a walk outside if the weather permits, and find a hobby you enjoy and focus on that. I've been unplugging by reading, listening to music, and doing little projects around the house. Delete most of your social media if you can. I only have BlueSky now, for example. (7/7)

6) For big-ticket items, consider buying them used if you can. Your local Habitat for Humanity Restore is a great resource, and other thrift stores are good for clothing, too, but check the organization that's running them (I avoid Salvation Army and Goodwill but there are other good options). 5) If it's something that you can't find at a local small business, buy from the least problematic place you can find (Costco, for example - avoid ones who have bent the knee or supported this all along). (5/7)

4) If not available locally, find an online small business to support instead, or buy directly from the manufacturer. (4/7)

2) If you consume news, consider smaller local media outlets and independent outlets and avoid the big ones that sane-wash what is happening.
3) Purchase local goods and services, when possible, especially from a small business. (3/7)

1) Volunteer at or donate money to organizations you believe in, like a shelter, Girl Scouts, civil rights groups, your local PTA, etc. (2/7)

They want to tear everyone down so only he can save us (from the very problems he caused).

Not working for me, either. Came here to see if I was alone. 😜

Yup. Laugh in their faces and point out the absurdity, as my sister says.

Looks to me like they could clear out the entire White House if they were actually going to go after criminal and un-Christian behavior. But we know it actually means going after “people who follow the law and are kind to others.”

Hey @heyperegrine.bsky.social and @melshamie.bsky.social I know what happened. My wallet was stolen two years ago and someone used it to ask my bank for my savings acct number. I’ll get it back but with all the shenanigans with treasury and just having filed my taxes, I was suspicious.

A very odd, large withdrawal was taken out of my savings account today that was not authorized. With a certain muskrat having access to banking info and not following any security protocols, it makes me wonder if it’s related.

Support independent media! Stick with your local paper, independent outlets, and the AP or Reuters. BBC is also pretty good for world news. (7/7)
