Im going to be moving in june, but would be happy to swap first chapters and/or queries. I read a wide range of genres and ages. (Though never done a picture book) And write YA/MG contemporary fantasy with a dose of humor and dash of horror.

Someone who has the space and time to give feedback within a 4 to 6 week time frame, who lets me know whats working and what they like, but doesnt shy away from telling ne what they think the weakness are and how to get better.

I try to do detailed critique for the first 3 chapters and get a sense for some of the big issues. Then I try to focus on a handful of main issues they could address to improve their next draft and of course ensure i give reinforcement of what they do well.
