Everything is about what’s better for the financial bottom line. If being inclusive feels better for the bottom line they jump on, if it’s not they police it out. There is very little good will or doing the right thing in the world and America.

Ah okay. That makes sense. Hopefully you get another shot to show the background off

Congrats! What play you got drawn up back there? Some kind of counter? 👀

I think they need to keep the same verbiage and really emphasize building an Eagles offense and they need to build off Kellen’s advancements to the answers for max pressures. Shane had a really nice knack for keeping Jalen on schedule. A combo of two would be perfect

a truly special edge player in the right system I can justify $,but I can’t find a ton of replacement level guys to play tackle,6’5 300 lbs guys that I can leave on an island are rare,I’d pay them all daybut I can cobble together a good productive edge group without breaking the bank using draft/FA

I think what people aren’t realizing still is OLB’s (Edges) in this defense have to play a certain way. Their priority isn’t just to get the QB no matter what

That’s a fair counter question/counter point. No I don’t think tackle is overrated or overpaid. To be clear I like having good edge play, but fans and media think you need 15 sack guys to win and it’s not true. I hear people freaking out because the eagles “only” have Nolan, Jalyx, Azeez and Uche

So basically the head coach and a bunch of celebrity players are "prosperity gospel" Christian wack jobs. Got it.

I like him as a big slot type. Maybe he can block in some counter schemes but he shouldn’t be used at the POA. I’d like to see it then Smitty and AJ can move around a little more.

Don’t keep interacting with that person. It’s not worth it

I think they should definitely do it but consider having him play mostly in the slot. Idk if he’s a traditional TE but he’d be fun

I like that. My original thought was to use the orcs as pawns he protagonists due to the negative connotation around that race. Bur yeah there a lot to play with

Thank you. I have a general idea that can work for either one.

The idea that what Slay gave us last year is easier to “hide” or replace than what Sweat did is detached from reality. There are tons of NFL fans (and GMs) who have been taught to think a certain way. And I don’t hold it against them. There’s a lot of bad NFL defense out there.

Exactly. I try to give him the benefit of the doubt because all he’s knows is “edge and DL are the way to win” but we literally saw the eagles play such good defense with mediocre edge production.

I think it was a role thing with him. DHop probably wants to be a top 2 WR and wouldn’t have been that here. Are there any possible trade candidates?

I’m right there with you. It’s definitely as important. The responsibility vs the run alone make it tough. I’m happy Vic liked Coop there

I agree. That WR isn’t targeted enough to warrant allocating a lot of resources. I get the argument “well if AJ or Smitty go down we’re screwed” I mean yeah that’s expected when both WRs are really good

My unpopular, contrarian Eagles opinion is that they don’t need to upgrade their receivers behind AJ and DeVonta.

Agreed because teams just started putting their best WR inside. Gotta have a good Ni
