We can only hope. But they did cancel the best Trek after five seasons - #LowerDecks #BringBackStarTrekLowerDecks - so you'll forgive me if I don't hold me breath.

Whisky/whiskey is *always* welcome here ;) The kids (well, I say "kids", but they're all 25+ now!) know this.

Doesn't help when the drone is being piloted by a human though!

That makes sense, though I would have thought it would take longer to get the tyres off than it would to get the plane out of the hanger. Probably a whole lot cheaper than building hangers though ;)

Well if that's the case, it clearly didn't work 😀

Probably a stupid question, but why are the planes covered in spare tyres?

I bought it when it came out and still play it from time to time. It's not brilliant, but it's not bad. Damning with faint praise there!

Oops, nearly 60 years later! Maths, eh!?

Nothing dates a film than bad special effects, bad CGI more so than bad practical effects. In contrast the effects in 2001: A Space Odyssey still look fantastic 50 years later.

It would have been more surprising if it *didn't* contain hallucinations!

And when it's corrected I'll look like a fool ;)

You used the wrong hononym in the phrase "bear in mind".

Lived next to a locally famous radio DJ for a while. Didn't admit until several years after moving in that I used to listen to his radio shows back in the day. Like to think he appreciated it.

The irony is, the UK rivals the US for the best international reputation for higher ed. & foreign students contribute >£40bn per year to our economy too. We could be set to benefit from this, but instead we are cutting migrant graduates’ rights. Because Farage😔 #r4today

"And, while it was regarded as pretty good evidence of criminality to be living in a slum, for some reason owning a whole street of them merely got you invited to the very best social occasions." #TerryPratchett Feet of Clay.

Terry Pratchett said something similar about slum dwellers and slum landlords.

Stupidity by Dr Feelgood begs to differ.

I initially read this as (world turtle) day rather than world (turtle day) and so thought of The Great A'Tuin 😊 #Discworld #TerryPratchett

Actually that reminds me, I must go one last time to delete all my tweets and lock down the account. Don't want to delete it in case someone decides to reuse the handle - however small that possibility is.

I thought there was some science behind the colour stuff, but I don't know anyone who's dyslexic so I've not had any experience of it

Any country that obliterates its tourism industry and shuts off its pipeline of international talent is economically fucked. Reputation arrives on a snail and leaves on a horse. The US will take generations to overcome all this.

The kids played and unless the model is being built where there are smaller parts the finished pieces are too big to be vacuumed up by accident. So this is either bullshit or you're doing it deliberately. Also given the cost of these things, you've only done it 2 or 3 times!

Why do they do this? The modified photo is pointless.

Oh My God I can, unfortunately, believe how awful some people can be.
