I honestly think that Ange’s ‘I always win in my second season’ statement has propelled him to football legend status with neutral fans. COYS!

Where are we on the vibes rollercoaster now Jack? Have we shot off the track? 😂

Damn right Clarissa! How can anyone justify destroying what is a now a winning Sqaud, and a manager they have all obviously been behind the whole way! It would be crazy.

Ali, I hope you’re enjoying this as much as the rest of us. Thank you for always having a balance and fair view of our club (as infuriating as it must have been at times!) COYS!!!!!!

He reminded us recently that this is only his 4th season in European football. If winning the lot with Celtic, and a European trophy with Spurs doesn’t make you think ‘maybe this guy has something’ then I don’t know what will. Yes it’s been shit in the league - but we all know why!

Good response Dan 👍 I was enjoying the Pod until after your apology when the Toms then tried their best to turn it back around on Ange ‘oh why does he react’ etc.
I’m so sick of members of the media and their constant disrespect of this man - in that context it is very easy to see why he reacts.

Really laughed at James’ chat about the ‘painful rebuild’ - ‘…didn’t mean become shit..’ 😂 and your COYS at the end has single-handedly raised my spirits for Thursday 👏💪

We would’ve absolutely ruined him, and that in itself tells you all you need to know about how Spurs is run, and where the blame should be aimed at.

Hi Danny, I’d like to know more about the timings of the future fees to be paid for previous transfers - how will it affect available transfer funds this summer and for future windows? The club seems to be a difficult position still paying for years of poor transfers & could hinder future progress?

For all of the missed games and errors leading to goals, i don’t think Romero leaving will have too much of a negative impact on the team. He can be great, on his day, but we rarely see it.

Definitely don’t, but at least we can pretend this was why 😂

At first I did feel for Jay when Ange gave his question a short reply, and didn’t even look at him, but then I did think it was a strange article a few weeks ago talking about the candidates to replace Ange, the timing was weird, and overall disrespectful to the man currently in the job 🤷🏻

I accept that, let my frustration at another defeat get the better of me there - I apologise.
Maybe a collective mindset that this match ‘doesn’t matter’, with Thursday coming, led to some switching off.

Who said I believe in him? I at least recognise that we finished 5th in his first ever season managing in the premier league, after losing Harry Kane, with a team that finished 8th the year before - which gets conveniently forgotten by this stupid narrative of ‘he’s out of his depth’.

A man out of his depth, we finished 5th last season or are we just ignoring that now?

Some of these comments 😂 what can any manager do when their keeper decides to have a mare!? We’ve played well other than two errors, and got punished for them.

When did our fans become so sensitive? ‘But he cupped his ear towards the fans!’ And? They’d just been slagging off their own manager for a sub - that almost paid off - so I don’t blame him for giving some back. Our fans need to grow up, seriously. ENIC are the problem, aim your anger towards them.

I read it as £144m less the interest, player acquisitions, amortisation and depreciation, resulted in the overall loss of £28m, meaning they spent circa £172m on those items?
comment in response to

Always pointing to the total transfer fees spent and never the wages - we’ve all seen the Deloitte report. Top wages attract the top players, it isn’t complicated. I think that is what fans are calling for, not questioning the amount spent - it is HOW it is spent.
comment in response to

I’m no accountant, but doesn’t look right to me that the profit before amortisation, player trading etc was £144m, and then an overall loss of £28m - so why did the debt increase by about £95m? If losses are covered by debt, wouldn’t that mean there was an additional £67m borrowed by the club? Why?

What is it with the big clubs acting like even bigger assholes than usual at the moment? You’ve Real crying because their player didn’t win an award, now Bayern upset that their player got injured

All the money spent/wasted since sacking him… if they’d just listened to him at the time and gave him those funds to buy the players he wanted - he’d earned that chance.

I can’t stand the abuse that some of our so called ‘fans’ give our team and manager - it’s like, do you seriously expect Spurs to win every single game? And are you so fragile that you cannot handle your team losing? Absolute pathetic bunch. I don’t blame Ange for biting back.
