And I haven’t seen the TV news ratings lately, but here’s some fun info from the Media Bias/Fact Check website. NBC News: mediabiasfactcheck.com/nbc-news/ Fox News: mediabiasfactcheck.com/fox-news-bias/ Looks like Fox News is the one lacking with their credibility, but we all know Tr*mp lies!

I’m in the DFW area and the MAGA talk station, 820/93.3 WBAP, just set an all time record low for that station. Meanwhile, the local NPR station has higher ratings than all the conservative talk stations combined. It seems that people are growing increasingly tired of the BS coming from Tr*mp.

If they’re not going to help, drain their resources! The federal government is defunding local police and straining resources due to their lawlessness.

I was able to get a 6 month digital subscription for 54 cents if that helps!

Now do Abbott and Desantis!

Occupy Democrats seems to rage post a lot, without thinking things through.

This shouldn’t have happened, because Abbott should have already been thrown in prison on human trafficking charges for sending migrants by bus and plane all over the United States.

On second thought, sending the National Guard to places where there are no protests, could potential help avoid escalations and could actually save taxpayers money. It would still be a waste of money though!
comment in response to post
I agree with your first statement and am totally opposed to him deploying the Texas National Guard, as this will only cause escalations. However, most if not all of this weekend’s planned protests are happening in major cities, which are blue.

This video is so disgusting. It’s a game to him. He doesn’t care about anything that’s going on. All he cares about is power and money. It’s past time to impeach the orange felon!!

How is this going to work? Is there going to be a permanent curfew for downtown LA? Once the curfew is lifted, I’m guessing we’ll see a repeat of the past few days. I don’t think this is going to end until Trump is removed from office.

To be honest, Texas needs to legalize and regulate recreational marijuana. This would grow the Texas economy and taxes could be used for property tax relief and education. If this would happen, I’d be alright with hemp-based THC products going away. Alcohol is much, much more dangerous!

Totally same!!!

It’s so sad to see businesses, organizations, cities, et ceteta cave to the Trump regime…

The current administration lies all the time! Were you able to verify the accuracy of information provided by ICE with another source? If not, this is extremely poor journalism on WFAA’s part and potential misinformation.
comment in response to post
Is this an official WFAA account? If so, I think it would help to self verify and update your handle. That would probably help increase your followers. @dallasnews.com currently has over 12k followers on here. Just a suggestion!

I believe Trump and his family are at a UFC event tonight.

I’m not a legal expert, but if I were the hospital, I’d be looking into suing the state. The state’s unclear legislation and the GOP’s hatred is what resulted in this happening in the first place. Heck, if Trump was head of the hospital, there would already be a suit filed for $100 billion…

Was actual sexual material shown to students? The article wasn’t clear. Republicans seem to believe hardcore pornography is a picture of a clothed trans person.

Thanks, I appreciate it! Oncor just arrived back here, so hopefully power should be restored soon!

This is actually the 3rd time in less than a month that our power has went out for hours at a time. Good luck to me! I’m about ready to head back to Illinois!

ā€œAbbott said the new office is not a sign Republicans have mismanaged the state for the past 20 years.ā€ - That sounds exactly like something someone who has mismanaged the state for the past 20 years would say…

Self’s constituents are Republicans and some of those threats are from Republicans. His term ends 1/3/2027. If he doesn’t want to listen to his constituents, time to vote him out!

The Texas GOP is trying to pass legislation to restrict changing your gender on your birth certificate. There are less than 0.003% of trans people living in Texas and the bill is likely aimed at them. Tougher penalties for pastors committing sexual abuse would help a heck of a lot more people!!!
comment in response to post
It would be nice if the GOP in this state would pass legislation that would actually help Texans! This is an anti-trans bill that is meant to harm the less than 0.003% of transgender people that live in this state.

Texas just needs to legalize and regulate. The state is missing out on billions in tax revenue by not doing so. The ā€œTexas legalā€ products currently sold in stores have a similar effect compared to legal marijuana in other states, but are still being taxed at 8.25%.

Absolutely not!!! It’ll always be ā€œNew York stripā€ to a large majority of Americans, just like the body of water to our east will always be called ā€œGulf of Mexicoā€. I bet even a majority of Texans won’t support this change.
