We love the house We worship the house

Friday 5x5

Every time I play the band Wednesday in my car, this image appears on the screen. What is this!?

Love that we are guaranteed an NBA final of teams that at best haven’t won a championship since the 70s.

I think this is my fave track on the new Daoboys open.spotify.com/track/2oATCc...

Damn Lambrini Girls fucking rock y’all

Sydney & co did it again (banger)

Lambrini Girls gonna be rocking the house tonight

Yeah we have a badass skyline

Much discourse happening on account of this but let’s all remember this great dumb jazz album H Jon Benjamin made for a moment: open.spotify.com/album/1Tryb7...

Shout out to this ChungusMcFungus who made a Rate Your Music account today to give the new Arm’s Length album 5 stars.

Can’t wait to recommend the new Callous Daoboys album to all my friends that like all the most abhorrent scene music from our youth so we can finally find some common ground. And to those of you that say “but wait didn’t you love Atreyu?” That’s different.

Happy May 16

A goddamn classic

As I may have said before I’m not *loving* this new Pup album as much as the other records but there’s definitely some good lines in there. Hits on a lot of stuff we’re all feeling. I found this interview to be a nice read! Great band can’t wait to see them three times later this year.

Now that Suf is fully out I can’t wait for more takes like this.

Ladies and Djentlemen,

Thank you Eli for this beautiful takedown. I learned about Sleep Token this year and have become aghast at how many people it turns out love this band. My wife’s friend bought us tickets to see them and thankfully it’s the same night as Jeff/Pup/Ekko so I got to say “oh nooo I already have plans!”

A month or so ago one of our patrons was talking about how she was flying out to see her FAVORITE artist, Gillian Welch. Another patron chimed in and said “oh yeah she’s great” to which she replied “you don’t know her, name one song.” He replied “I’m not a big fan, but uh, Red Clay Halo, yeah?”

Agree and nice little thread here. I love not worrying about storage but I also really miss having a collection of stuff I chose or was recommended by a friend. Streaming gives me endless choices but also decision paralysis and I hate that. Gotta find ways to fight against the convenience.
