. . . or the White House.

Cloquet defensemen Karson Young has committed to the Bulldogs for the future. Went in the first round of the USHL entry draft this spring to Cedar Rapids. I'm off the rest of this week, but will check in next week.

Probable NHL first rounder confirms rumored move to U.Michigan

With his transfer to Canisius, goalie Chase Clark will be playing for his fourth college in his four seasons of eligibility 22-23 Quinnipiac 23-24 Sacred Heart 24-25 AIC 25-26 Canisius

Trump said ‘we do very little business with Canada’ they are literally #1 on our list our trading partners. That was the sort of thing I would pointed out if I was sitting across from that moron. I remember when MTP was real news.

UConn men's hockey received a commitment from '06 defenseman Darels Uljanski, I'm told. A 2024 seventh round pick of the Anaheim Ducks, he's a two-way blue liner who played in the last two World Juniors with Latvia. 2026 arrival. www.uconnhockeyhub.com/p/uconn-husk...

Seattle Kraken fifth-rounder Clarke Caswell is headed to Denver next season. He captained Swift Current in the WHL this season.

With absolutely no personal knowledge, this sounds right-ish. The aged-out CHLers are already adding depth to the NCAA, so it would seem the NCAA level of competition will rise to give it a slight advantage over the CHL, with it now offering a greater challenge to the top end CHLers.

More CHLers coming down, with U.Miami-Ohio benefitting.

I have confirmed that Michigan State defender Vladislav Lukashevich is headed to Miami out of the transfer portal. He’s a 4th Round Pick of Florida and posted 7pts as a freshman this past year

Older brother Dawson, a goalie, is an Ohio State recruit for this coming year.

Cornell's Ben Robertson transfers to Michigan

No criminal charges were filed against Mohsen Mahdawi And apparently the Trump administration has asserted no legal basis to deport him-other than Marco Rubio’s say so If this doesn’t scare you Remember-they’re trying to revoke birthright citizenship So they can deport ANYONE they wish

Brown, Princeton, Harvard, Cornell: Good job. Columbia: Not a university anymore. Under Trump’s boot. Shame.

Penn State men's hockey earns commitment from transfer goaltender Kevin Reidler

Confirming long rumor. Suspect several more top-end CHL kids are following once their season ends.

I am inherently skeptical of the CHL contracts, so I wonder how one "unveils" a new standard contract without presenting it. With players now having the ability to move to the NCAA, I'm curious how the new contract addresses players leaving before CHL eligibility expires. chl.ca/ohl/article/...

Breaking news: The Trump administration did not comply with a federal judge’s order setting a Friday morning deadline for officials to lay out steps for the return of a Maryland man mistakenly deported to a mega-prison in El Salvador.

BREAKING: The DOJ told a federal judge that it was "impracticable" to meet a court-ordered deadline on how it plans to return a Maryland resident whom the Trump administration erroneously deported to a notorious prison in El Salvador

I'm reading that SCOTUS sided with the Maryland man wrongfully seized and removed to El Salvador. It did not. It agreed that Trump admin must facilitate return, but refused to require that it "effectuate" that return. i.e., it must only enable a return. The details of what it must do are undecided.

Multiple sources have indicated to me that AIC hockey head coach Eric Lang will be named the new RPI men's hockey head coach as soon as today. #ECACHockey #RPIHockey

This is an incredible, bone-chilling three minutes.

Show some gratitude to the financial geniuses in the White House, America!

Among the people who back channeled between law firm Paul Weiss and the Trump administration about cutting a cowardly deal? Robert Kraft, the billionaire owner of the New England Patriots. His son is currently running for Mayor of Boston. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/21/u...

Laughing at this update on Paul Weiss. I prefer my lawyers not be gullible quislings thank you.

Remembering the response of another BigLaw firm, Hale and Dorr, to a campaign of intimidation www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpYM...

It is a sad day for the legal industry. Paul Weiss, didn't just bend a knee, it set a new standard for shameful capitulation. This is a stain on the firm, every one of its partners, and the entire legal profession.

Nebraska-Omaha continuing its pipeline to Quebec, with late '06 Right Winger Vincent Desjardins. No indication of what year he's expected, but noteworthy that Blainville's season ended Monday. The theory is that CHL players with eligibility would announce only after their current season is done.
