I've been playing with GenAI as a brainstorming partner. Like a co-designer / co-creator / co-author, and its been interesting. In a lot of little ways it fails. It changes a name, or a motivation. Creates a new mechanic or just adds one I've told it no on. It also doesn't feel ... right

Super shameful seeing the President of the US bully the President of Ukraine. Made all the worse by the fact that I just found out a co-worker in Ukraine was killed in action the other day. #slavaukraini

Thinking of an analogy for CI/CD, and sometimes in board games there's action points you spend to do things, and one thing you can do is have more action points next turn, that's CI/CD. What that means is that the earlier you invest the bigger the return. It also tends to be cheaper to do up front.

Continuous integration minimizes the risk of integration conflicts by working in small steps and integrating frequently, unlike feature branching. This promotes team collaboration and faster, higher-quality software development. This is why CI > Feature Branching.

Taking down the Kanye video. No matter how cool the tech + devs behind it was, its pretty clear we should't be promoting it in any way. Web Components = cool Hate = not cool

I love code reviews and think they should be a gate to code getting into mainlines. Here's why: When you're solving a problem there is a context which you build up as you work through the solution - even when pairing or mobbing there is still a shared context. 1/4
