Might be an idea to use the BBC feedback form.

Progressives won twice as many votes as the Right. That’s got to be good news.

I’m pretty sure the BBC would have given a full interview to Benjamin Kigen and said what a great victory he had. Third in the Olympics Steeplechase.

Oh yeah, that’s right. 7000 English folk moved to the area! You’re as bad as Reformers. Same kind of foreign hating nationalist.

Can’t help but point out that ‘fingered’ means something else this side of the Atlantic. Snigger. 🤭

Reform are the pub bores of politics. The half-pissed middle aged blokes that tell have all the answers.

Finland introduced free school meals for all years ago. Everyone benefits. Those that don’t ‘need’ it too: it ensures they all get a healthy balanced meal + not highly processed convenience foods. + as you say, it removes any stigma. + Better off get something back for their tax.

Your last point is exactly why they want us out of it. Reform-Cons are the party of white collar crime.

Should be RM and MN not RM.

The situation in Svalbard reminds me of South Georgia in 1982.

Interesting that the Great Patriotic Party could not find a picture showing any of the 61,615 British troops that landed on D-Day, or any of the 22k other (mostly Empire/Dominions) soldiers that landed with them. Or any of the 143k RN/RM personnel who served that day (70% of Allied naval personnel).

That’s unique

Everyone thought that before the election. Unless the Tangerine Tellytubby gets his collar felt and chucked in chokey it won’t mean a thing to most Americans.

They’re replacing Hail to the Chief with Entry of the Gladiators. youtu.be/v8_aaqbaVvE?...

Let’s hope Elmo doesn’t realise this and go quiet on it again.

Is that what the Old Harrovians ultras chant at togger matches?
comment in response to post
A lot of their supporters will be upset to hear that.

Aye. It didn’t become the official doctrine (and I do mean official) until 300 years after J’s time. Just one interpretation among many. And then it was forced on churches with the threat of violence.

That’s a depressing article

Wonder what Taco will do when US officials get killed in a Russian terror attack.

It won’t hurt them. They’ll just pass it on in price rises at the next round of negotiations.

BURRITO. Buried Up Russia’s Rancid Iniquitous Tyrant’s Orifice?

Another one completely missing the point.

Controversial! Aren’t they British Civil Wars after 1707? 😉

So you know that 66 million people are racist eh? Hypocrisy.
comment in response to post
Yes I have and no it’s not a particularly English one. ‘It’s always the English’ isn’t it with a certain type of nationalist. You’re as bad as the Brexit/Reform scum.
comment in response to post
There was already violence when internment was brought in, so the situations are different.
comment in response to post
You’re missing the point pal.

Alt right is a minority in most countries. Most Brits don’t call sthrn Europeans PIGS. That was an economic commentator who created a poor taste acronym for 4 struggling economies. It isn’t in common parlance. Before u start slinging mud around you ought to get your own personal house in order chum.
comment in response to post
I guess you just placed yourself in the racist box, stereotyping 66miion people.

Maybe it was just sales patter to him. Shows what an untrustworthy lot Reformers are. Crooked to the core.

I’ve got a very pale-skinned, blue-eyed daughter who is ‘not white’ because she has Finnish mother. 🤔 Bloody Moomins coming over here, taking our cartoon pigs jobs.
comment in response to post
At least then the British Army and police were dealing with an active terrorist campaign. Not excusing internment. This militaristic ICE crap has no such context.

I don’t show contempt for ‘thinking for yourself’. It’s patronising twats who think others don’t think that I have contempt for.
