Yes, I definitely have to fix the contrast! Regarding the food selection, I was having a tough time. 😅 Basically I just wanted to distinguish between vegan, vegetarian, omnivorous, but then I wanted some setting for people that don’t eat pork or red meats. I think I will add grains and nuts though

I copy the basic widgetbook setup from project to project for main widgets. 🚀 I didn't use it more extensively for this app yet, though.

Lol, reminds me of this story: web.mit.edu/jemorris/hum... „We can’t send emails over 500 miles“

Oh I like the idea!

Nice! Count me in. ☝️

Fully agree. I mostly keep track of habits to make sure that I do them often enough per one week.

Yep, I’m not missing any features with go_router. My only gripe is the bugs and those are actively being fixed now.

So many events 🤩 I can't make it to Flutter Heroes, but Flutter Connections sounds very nice!

I kinda get it. The more I work in software and the more fuckups I see, the more I gravitate to 'tried and tested' things.

Makes sense, I like the approach.

Loon looks nice, but I'd prefer something like sembast, which has a more proven track record, in my eyes.

Why the filesystem? To me this feels like a key value store with extra steps.

I have, but after the original Hive was abandoned I always stuck to shared prefs or went full database. Do you use it?
comment in response to post
Nice, I can recommend it. I use Make to send Pipedrive customer data to my invoicing tool. I also set up a few quick automations for some of my clients. Like: Shopify Order -> Asana Ticket, Google Sheet -> Prefilled PDF

Something feels off there. I had the same issue searching for the 'fingerprint' package last week.

Wait until you find out about this: AnimatedSize(child: show ? SpecificWidget() : SizedBox.shrink()) But honestly I went through the same. A loot of hardcoded sizes before I found out how to animate this. 🫥

Bluesky FlutterMerge bot? 👀

Horrible video quality, though. 🫥

Looks like we have gone full circle and arrived at "it depends".

Also sounds good. For me it’s also about being aware of what commands I use frequently.

You might have better memory than I do.

Nice! 🔥

If you want offline capabilities I would guess Supabase + Brick is better. Or maybe Supabase + Powersync. I heard good things about that. But if you go the Nitric route I would love to hear more about your experience.
comment in response to post
Never heard of Nitric before this post. Do you have any experience with it for Dart server dev yet?

Anything but typing twice 🤝

Imagine this was actual code in an ide and not a very bad recreation. 🥸

Amazing, exactly what I was looking for! Thank you 💙

Came over because of your post ✌️ Can you name some Flutter people that are active here to get my feed going?
