So the State of the Exception is a legal theory which says in crisis all law boils down to who do the people with weapons listen to, and that answer is the whole of what remains of law until it can be changed by force. Gavin is conceeding rather than calling the question of who the Guard will follow

I still have my physical copy of the original Homeworld manual. One of the things that inspired me to write creatively. It's so good.

Homeworld is one of the most important pieces of art in my life and most treasured objects to hold from being there. There are videos of what Homeworld presents. But that ignores the the temporal and axiomic. Back when games were boxes on a shelf you picked and experienced outside Hours Played.

DHS is now declaring an unlawful assembly here. LAPD is not present. I am not aware if federal authorities can even enforce that order beyond their property (which at present no protester is on. The crowd has been pushed into the street by the prior volley of force)
